Le sigh. Eno would crush it behind our OL in this offense.

One of the most sincere, richly-woven shows on tv. bartscottcantwait.gif

Most consistent run of actual football discussion in weeks and people don't like it? It even related back to WR and TE numbers in the class.
It's not like this kind of stuff actually gets talked about much on the football board.
Outside of a tiny roll of raw fish and rice, this board is far superior in actual analysis to the Football board.

But, when we run a screen or a slant, I feel more confident in Duvernay breaking it for a big gain. Look, I realize and am happy that Smith is going to start for the next few years. I'm not confident that he is better than Duvernay and will provide the home run threat that Herman wants out of the position. Either way, if he goes down, we will need a replacement. And speed kills so I would look for someone in this upcoming class to fill that role and I don't think LVBS is the one.

But we do have question marks on the roster and holes in the current team.
The entire recruiting board is essentially discussions of filling holes and addressing team question marks. You’re straw-manning.

Not the least of which is that there are major smoking embers inside the UGA camp being stoked by early rumors of an NCAA investigation.

I heard Morris hates Herman from his SMU days. Don't think Herman has much of an opinion about him, either way.

And with the way their fanbase is already rabidly opposed to Henson, they might be looking at their 3rd OL coach in three years next year. Although they will likely return 4 out of five starters from their current starting line, unless some of them test the grad transfer market.
Hiring a bad OL corch to mentor a slow OL of mostly guards in an offense that needs the run game to operate?
You just hate to see it.

Epps was disappointing to say the least. Doesn't seem like he wants to be out there. That over the shoulder ball was right through his hands if pushes a little. For a guy that big, he apparently doesn't like to play football. Wonder if they'll bury him or somehow try to get him motivated.
I’ve never seen a more feeble collection of attempts at “attacking” the ball from a WR. It was even worse opposite of Tylan Wallace.
On the positive: I thought the front seven looked great, esp Roach and Coburn. Juwan Mitchell has been a pleasant surprise as well, and Ossai is our best tackler.

Other places are saying FWK is trying to get Demas to Texas after seeing what Texas' big receivers are doing this season.
Can you expand?

As much of an invaluable asset LJH and Collin have been for a program in transition, we’re beginning to see the offense reach new heights with more team speed (DD in the slot, Eagles, Smith).

@SydneyCarton Maybe take it down a notch.

If you want to play the pretend game: Can we pretend to be OU, OSU, WV, and TT?
320.75 passing yards allowed vs these teams. Texas' pass defense was ranked 110th last year. You defense is more bend but don't break vs shutdown.
Sooooo, the continued offensive systems of Riley, Gundy, Holgo, and Kliffsbury? Is that a good comparison to this LSU offense that had all of three passes of 10+ yards last week?
Texas opens as an 11 point favorite @ West Virginia

All of these "track record in games like this" comments make me want to lay a large sum on Texas -10.5. We'll win the trenches being better on both lines, and it's a revenge game for Sam. Something like 37-17.
