  1. Wipe the drool off your mouth, psycho What a post, pretty much a greatest hits tape of the worst/dumbest possible takes
  2. I was really just making a joke/reinforcing your point but it would make a great Surly motto
  3. Also, I just double checked your post history on this topic just to make sure I was remembering the right person, and yep. You have offered nothing but incoherent ramblings (in which you repeatedly intentionally misspell his name) about how he's "rich" but a socialist and that's bad. You basically have nothing else to offer but the most basic chudlike, Cuomo-level boomer criticisms. You got laughed out of the thread last time you addressed this topic. So no, you haven't offered detailed critiques on shit. You're just a fucking idiot. Stop before you embarrass yourself further.
  4. You literally said, verbatim, that Cuomo was "100% correct" that he should vacate his home and give it to a starving, single mother. You have lost your mind. Not only that, but you have ignored every single subsequent post that tried to actually pry into your insane position. I just didn't try because you're clearly either deranged or a moron or both. Fuck off.
  5. Liberals are fucking crazy, man. I understand he's a scary, brown socialist, but you're going to be ok. Racist little weasel.
  6. I'm glad she cares
  7. Let's not let reality invade the nice little fantasy he's living in that twisted little mind.
  8. You're a fucking idiot.
  9. This guy has some really great ideas, right guys?
  10. Dude you need help. What the fuck.
  11. The Mormons have a lot of money.
  12. I want you to think about what you just typed
  13. Are you on drugs? Did TTomTerrific take over your account?
  14. A good question. I would assume some expectations have been placed upon the head coach by the AD, but who knows what they actually are. I would assume competing for a conference championship would be part of that conversation. But, as Satchel has pointed out, this is a starting point. It's meant to establish a baseline for moving forward, but I would assume some improvement at the very least is expected. It doesn't mean they're going to pack up and give up if a remarkable and immediate improvement isn't apparent, but it might spell trouble for McGuire if that ends up being the case.
  15. It's more than that, almost the whole episode revolved around 3 pairs of people that range from full on couple to flirty will they won't they kids, with a jilted ex love dynamic cherry on top. It's just unnecessary and actually kind of lazy because you don't need sexual/relationship tension to build interpersonal dynamics. It's basically the only gripe I have with the show. Sure, Trek has always had horny shit but intermixed among plenty of complex character relationships that don't involve romance.
  16. It's ok, you're allowed to be a moron.
  17. I will say one thing about this show is I could totally do without the relationship drama. I do not care at all.
  18. You never know how people internalize how other people treat them. They might now show any signs but could be absolutely boiling underneath.
  19. Yeah, fair enough, I just assumed Elliot was saying in general we would have to pay that for any recruit which is like...silly.
  20. Posting uncorroborated stories from highly questionable "sources" in the early hours of the morning and otherwise refusing to engage? Check!
  21. This is a different argument to make, though. This is an increased premium over what a top 5 school is offering, not just to get any good recruit to Lubbock.
  22. I agree with all of this. Everything I hear is positive with regard to the locker room. Everyone on the team gets paid a baseline, as well, even walk ons, unless that has changed from the original policy. I don't believe it has. It's impossible the have no resentment in any locker room but they are doing their best to take care of everyone fairly. This season is important but I don't think it's make or break as much as it's a proof of concept. Sustaining the practice going forward will be how the program is built.
  23. That number is completely made up, there's a 0% chance he did anything but pull that out of his ass for clicks. It is what it is. No one is saying Lubbock is a destination city lmao, just that many traditionally strong football schools are located in non-destination cities. It doesn't matter nearly as much as you want it to, especially now that it's much more about business. It's absolutely wild what a hornet's nest shit like this stirs up. Ohio State spent a gazillion dollars on a roster to win a natty, no one says a word, Arkansas spent more than anyone else to end up with an NCAA tourney 10 seed, etc etc, but Tech spending a mint to try and build a program is unacceptable to so many. I'm not saying that's the sentiment on Surly, it's just the wild shit I see on Twitter etc from SEC fans.
  24. This show is damn good, MUCH better than New Blood. Really really enjoying this.
