  1. The Pac12 was basically broken by the exit of USC/UCLA, and still, they did not behave in such a way.
  2. So only the commissioner and his second are actively taking sides and trashing a member institution. This is normal.
  3. If you don't know why he went to Africa in particular then it seems that maybe you just don't know much about him. His organization had a lot of interest in Africa as that is a huge revenue stream for Wagner. It is not out of character for the leader of an organization to travel around during turmoil to his breadbasket to ensure it is still aligned to him.
  4. IIRC, Texas was called for holding during this game. Texas Tech did this the entire night. Brian Orakpo was injured on one of these clothesline plays by Tech. It is also why their o-line suddenly became ineffective in the bowl game without the B12 officiating fuckery to protect them. Glad they will be relegated soon. Its going to be funny when they have to try to prop themselves up. Remember those bitchasses tired to file lawsuits to keep Texas in the B12.
  5. So, this is the best you got? You lost the argument. Something tells me this is not the first or last time.
  6. Is this suppose to be evidence? The penalties not called are on the refs moron. Not on the school. You tech folks really try to live up to the reputation of being idiots…..
  7. Unpredictable? He was motivated by money and pride. He was very predictable.
  8. Only part I didn’t like was how Ahsoka didn’t kill that wannabe inquisitor. She kicked Maul’s ass.
  9. Good to see we are rebottling the old arguments again: Mack Brown cannot with the big game. (define big game) Mack Brown cannot with the big game, without Vince Young? (dumb as well, it is his job to get the VYs) Mack Brown cannot win the big game without an elite QB? (dumb as well, it is still his job to get elite QBs) Mack Brown cannot win games without better talent than the other guy (that's the JOB!!!)
  10. The comment was about playing for a title, not winning.
  11. 4. 2001, 2005, 2008, 2009. Bad coaching killed 2001. Bad conference killed 2008.
  12. What? Have the illegals parachute into Hawaii while it burned?
  13. Ditched the special ed/autism support staff a week before school begins. (HISD)
  14. Whew, if you said StarCraft I would have had been shamed.
  15. Why not? They still have a tough slog ahead of them, coupled with continued civilian casualties, commerce disruption, and if/when they eventually do reclaim the territory the infrastructure will be destroyed. The post-war clean-up and reconstruction are going to be massively expensive. Plus there is the chance that the US elects a russian friendly (NATO hostile) compromised leadership as well. The arrival of the F-16s will help them, but then they still need to learn how to use combined arms in practice even after their arrival and training on the equipment. I think you are making an assumption of continuity and stability. Our own political system is under threat. Hell, we had a coup attempt here and the architects and supporters of which are still in office spreading lies. At least Germany jailed Adolph after the Beerhall Putsch.
  16. So he “bought” the first 100 tickets? What does Ja Rule think about this?
  17. So we got paid, had our own network showcasing our school for more than a decade, and they cried about it. They won NOTHING. They got a hype trophy, not an earned trophy. In our worst decade, we did more, won more (fcs do not count) and have hardware.
  18. No. Is it our responsibility to do so? Look to Afghanistan if you want examples of us handing over equipment (they still didn't become our friends in spite of Rambo III. And all that gear we left for the 'good guys' and the years of training went directly into the hands of ISIS without as much resistance of a fart in their general direction. Ukraine doesn’t have a historical alliance with the West. They are not France, Canada, or England. This is difficult and emotional, but emotion should not be making our decisions.
  19. I doubt this is true. This is not a traditional US ally, and this is not a NATO member. We are helping but the trickle, while frustrating from an emotional standpoint, is by my guess, being done for several reasons. 1) Just sending equipment doesn't do anything unless people are trained for it. It is probably why our allies were quick to send soviet crap and slow to send US/NATO stuff. 2) The part not talked about is what Ukraine's resolve look like without Zelensky. If he and his family are killed in a missile strike does the next in line have the will and ability to hold the country together, continue to rally support, and carry on? Or will that person make concessions to end the war, ease the suffering of their populace, and appease Russia?
  20. Had we listened, we would be better off.
  21. At a resort hotel with the family visiting with a friend of ours and her boys. We are finally packed up after some drama, and the ladies promise the kids ice cream. Fine. Challenge is my eldest kid lactose intolerant. I finish packing and walk up to see the kid opening an ice cream. I start to make a comment but my wife and friend stop me, “he was so confident” they tell me. I shut up. 10 minutes later the kid is walking back to me saying it was a bad idea and he feels sick. Thanks honey! Only a 3+ hour drive ahead of us. Paper towels and vomit bag here we go!
  22. How is this attack any different from the previous bad acts they have committed?
