  1. Bernie will set the bar regarding cannabis in the general. Trump will have to talk like he will legalize as well.

Bernie listens to the people and responds like a leader should. No matter the topic what Bernie says carries weight because it’s actually what the majority of people believe. It’s not some idea of a handful of people or companies. He has changed the Democratic platform by simply being a leader of the people and creating relentless pressure for progress. I believe Bernie will continue to extend his influence. This time over Trump and the Rs. At least when it comes to legalization.

“We will end the destructive war on drugs,” the 2020 Democratic presidential candidate said at rally in Cedar Rapids. “On my first day in office through executive order we will legalize marijuana in every state in this country.”

What’s funny is that if Bernie is the nominee and gets clobbered in November, his supporters will blame the general election voters for being out of touch without a hint of self reflection.

You’ve just described what’s actually happened for centrists and corporate democrats. Not imaginary like your scenario.

This board is going to break if Bernie wins the nomination. Between Hugo, the centrist libs that act like he won't get a single thing done, the never-Trumpers who act like the country would overnight descend into chaos and goddammit you forced them to vote for Gary Johnson again, and the right wingers who would start to post that wouldn't have voted for any Democratic candidate but disingenuously claim they would.

Or maybe you’re a political terrorist. Did you ever think of that!?

  4. Bernie’s path to victory is clearer than ever.

“If we win Iowa and New Hampshire, I think we stand a great chance to win Nevada, I think we’re strong there,” Sanders told a crowd of supporters this weekend. “I think we’re going to do very well in South Carolina, I think we’re going to win California and many other states on Super Tuesday. And if we do all that, we will have accomplished something never done in the modern history of America, and that is put together an unprecedented political revolution.”

I don't politically align with many of his positions. But the man is real and consistent.  Which puts him a far stretch from most in today's politics.

Well you’re in luck. Detractors have stated nothing will get passed anyway. Which isn’t a bad thing if you don’t like his policy but can respect the man.
