Excellent. Keep doing you.
I'm usually back to being alive in just a few days. I'm out of the woods in a week or two. A good night's sleep is a miracle, and I'm pretty lucky in that department., even though I'm an extremely light sleeper and also have to old man pee quite a bit these days.
B12 supplement might help with the energy and dream processing. Drinking and other outside issues sometimes don't allow the deep restorative sleep that the body needs in order to move on and be ready for the next day. This lack processing leads to hallucinations known as Delirium Tremens, or 'DT's'. Your mind is so desperate for restorative processing that only occurs when the mind is off that it will attempt it when awake. I'm not suggesting that this is you, just stressing that sleep is 10 times more effective then any therapeutic pill. Don't quote me, I didn't stay at Holiday Inn.
Being helpful, like volunteering, might help with the gratification of spent energy. It sounds like you usually like to apply it to your body.
I'm so happy for you. Stay on that side.
