I think they are going to want more than that to give up anything.

I don't think they'll ever give up their nukes. Only one country in history ever has.

Especially if we want the American prisoners back which should've been a pre-condition for meeting with Pompeo. Trump damn well better not meet with Un before they're back home.

If i quote someone on surly...and no longer want to quote it...how the hell do I get rid of the quoted post in the reply box?

  4. Too many to mention. The Cheese Shop, Four Yorkshiremen, Dead Parrot, the one with the granny gang, The Larch, Upperclass Twit of the Year, The Lumberjack Song, The Ministry of Silly Walks, Crunchy Frog, Albatross, I'm not sure if Sit on My Face was from the show or not, Spam, Nudge Nudge, The Spanish Inquisition. I remember one where there were "climbers" scaling a sidewalk, I don't remember what that one was called. Oh, also the self defense one.

Thats what I've got off the top of my head. My uncle turned me on to the show when I was a pre-teen during a gathering at my grandma's house. I don't think many in the family got it. I thought it was great and watched it whenever I could catch it on PBS. One time a friend told me about this funny movie he saw where they were catapulting cows from a castle. Later I came across it myself and discovered the Holy Grail. Love me some Python.

  5. No need for inspectors because they're not giving up their nuclear program. It's the art of the Trump deal. All show, no substance.

Education Secretary Betsy DeVos has already rescinded guidances meant to protect students against sexual assaults on campuses and black and transgender students against bias.

It's like the members of his cabinet are competing with one another to see who can be the biggest asshole.

Trump can only last for so long, the GOP would take the biggest hit initially.  The political consequences aren’t all about Trump.

Trump and the GOP have already given us ample reason for why we should already be there. I don't think Trump is going to fire Rosenstein and the Republicans in Congress appear to be discouraging him. But if he decides to do it then I think he'll do it and would be happy for the chance to replace Sessions at the same time. Hopefully we won't have to test my assumption.

If the AG and DAG go in one swoop it would be political suicide for Trump and the GOP.  Stupid Watergate indeed.

Trump has done tons of shit that should be political suicide. I don't think Sessions' threat would stop him from firing Rosenstein.

They won’t ever disarm, and it would certainly be more than Obama ever accomplished.

So what good exactly does a halt in testing do?

When are those American prisoners coming home?

Paying $1,600,000 to coerce an abortion, soliciting bribes from Russian companies under sanction to try to influence the US government on their behalf, apparently scheming with China and the UAE to get paid blood money for arranging to have a dissident sent back to certain death ... you know, this Elliott Broidy guy is a real jerk.

    Trump's kind of guy.

North Korea says they are suspending future nuclear and long-range missile tests and will close their nuclear test site.

    Good job, Trump.

Not the same as disarmament. He's not giving up his nukes.

When are the three American prisoners coming home?

The guy next to me at the Rolling Stones concert was smoking weed! HE WAS SMOKING WEED! AND THE COPS DIDN'T ARREST HIM!!!

OK, I was 15 at the time and this was my first concert. Little did I know that errrrybody was smoking weed at every concert.

At a Pink Floyd concert in '87 the guy sitting next me asked me to put out the joint my friends and I were smoking. I just laughed at him. "You're at a Pink Floyd show. I defy you to find another seat in the stadium where the person next to you isn't smoking pot." We kept right on toking.

Hack is slang for taxi driver so it gives him a solid cover.  Its right there with Hunts Point Hooking Corp.

Yeah, I wasn't actually suggesting that it was a computer hacking company. I just found it ironic. That and the "laugh" homophone.
