  1. Holy shit, Wasserman put up up the mea culpa, which should have been the end of it (along with the deletion of the story), but he actually tried to make some mind-bending edits and keep it published… as the entire fucking premise of his hit piece had been torn to shreds by the truth. Now, there’s some Frankenstein’s Monster-report really struggling to make sense (other than he had to meet his weekly quota of words?). It’s a low moment for The Athletic, I wonder if they have an ombudsman/oversight panel to review such an attack of proper journalism. Wasserman completely fucked up, should have taken the loss (delete and apologize) but he tried to salvage the unsalvageable. Bianco shouldn’t let this drop.
  2. Damn, he’s January, February and March.
  3. Yeah, sucked to hear. Some JUCO in his background
  4. I’m sure Meh could cut someone pretty badly with that faux hawk
  5. Life moves pretty fast around here, posted on Page 56, his hands already sufficiently mocked.
  6. Chiefs definitely need someone who can catch (and line up onsides).
  7. Just watched it, and it was much the same message. Tope should talk to all the OL recruits/parents about player development under Flood.
  8. I need to watch it. A couple years ago as he was concluding his 18th season, he gave an interview in which he praised Flood for developing him more in the short time they were together than in all his cumulative football activity prior. He’s a really sharp guy.
  9. Definitely looks like a Sarkisian player…
  10. We got Jordan Addison from the Vikings! I knew hiring Brennan Marion would pay off!
  11. El Paso and San Antonio are rather similar, just depends on whether you like your handjobs administered on the side of a mountain or while lazily floating down a tiny river in a tourist boat as people drink overpriced margaritas nearby.
  12. Yeah, I get where the Duck is coming from. It was a preposterous comment if about Dante Moore.
  13. I think Weigman may turn out fine, perhaps good, but the take was that Quinn Ewers actually had to improve to get to a Weigman-like level, and that’s now where Quinn resides, and that’s just a fucking ridiculous concept.
  14. I’ve read the article multiple times, even watched the TV report (which was worse… it claims the cop beat the clerk in the parking lot), and still don’t have a clear idea of what the hell happened. What the hell was up with the batteries? What was company policy? People in that business can’t write a fucking story anymore.
  15. Weigman = Ewers? RIP to football takes on this board and Carl Torbush.
  16. It wasn’t figuratively. I don’t remember the category Odunze won, but he was followed immediately by Johnson (something like “Player I like to watch”) followed by DeBoer as Coach of the Year over Sarkisian and Barry Odom.
  17. It’s a made for TV bullshit show, I know, but ESPN is airing the “Herbie Awards,” where Herbstreit is copying John Madden. They literally had a block of three awards go in a row to Washington’s Rome Odunze, Dillon Johnson and DeBoer. I hope that shit airs on a loop in the Texas locker room.
  18. Damn, a GIF of W dodging the shoe at the news conference 20 years ago would have been a helluva response to some of this babble.
  19. That was the ‘22 Spring Game (regarding Neyor)
  20. This is the recruiting thread. Only talk about green beans and Crocs here (maybe some nice, not 100% asshole will help in the transfer thread).
  21. Yeah, damn thing almost got me. Wordle 902 6/6 🟩⬜⬜🟨⬜ 🟩🟨⬜⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  22. I think you have to stop drinking heavily to sober up. (Hell, I guess the entire state of Florida is bummed there’s days. FSU, no explanation needed. Florida sucks, Miami is decades into its underachieving phase [ok, maybe Schnellenberger/Jimmy/Erickson/Butch/Coker era was the anomaly], UCF shit it’s pants in the Big 12 and one school even has Tom Herman as its coach.)
  23. Good for him, good luck Casey. Thanks for your contributions when given the opportunity. A Sarkisian WR rotation is damned near impossible to crack, go get yours.
