  1. “I think you should sell.” / The entities who actually make a stock move once they have all the shares they want.
  2. Neither has Dia Bell, but he received an offer over a year ago. If you remember being a teenager, a year felt like an eternity, especially if you had been getting attention from someone else during that period.
  3. I caution against you dumping your childhood trauma on Surly.
  4. Have you thought about buying the dip? Then, the next dip? Then…
  5. I was in GB bay in late June and it was still 40 degrees and windy. Is summer like a week long or something?
  6. Of course businesses are going do what’s best for their stockholders and private investors, it’s business. That’s how they are structured. It’s the government’s responsibility to look out for the citizens and future of the nation. They could have controlled the outsourcing of business components, but instead used their positions to get wealthy themselves. When money buys your seat, you are owned by those who paid the money. You’ll be particularly loyal when the money then begins filling your personal investment account. For decades they all said what people wanted to hear, but did nothing to put America first. We the sheeple get caught up in the petty arguments over shit that doesn’t actually impact us 90% of the time.

  8. This is a good take, regardless of which side of the fence you are on. https://x.com/KimIversenShow/status/1912165122786701816
  9. You’ve never been kicked in the nuts by a kicker. I bet that follow through is legit.
  10. I’ve been loading on UUUU, waiting for this headline: https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/us-based-energy-fuels-poised-to-produce-six-of-the-seven-rare-earth-oxides-now-subject-to-chinese-export-controls-at-scale-302431466.html
  11. You act like there’s no possibility this young man felt deep remorse for what he caused, regardless of the legal consequences. I haven’t followed the story and maybe he was a total narcissist, but everyone processes these situations differently and we can never know what our own reaction would be.
  12. Do we need to get the futureman-fister involved in this transfer portal window?
  13. I found this interesting: https://youtu.be/2wacXUrONUY?si=-8qlKzIirxGHrzWl Don’t know how to properly embed…
  14. While I get what you’re saying, the term insiders encompasses more than just officers and directors who receive stick benefits.
  15. I'm jumping in this "argument" but something I've been tracking for the past year. Multiple institutions were predicting bonds would outperform stocks over the next 10 years, Vanguard being one. I recently read there were zero inside buyers in the Mag 7 over the past year (not 100% certain on exact time-frame, actually). I did not verify this. These moves are volatile for obvious reasons, but I still believe we were going from point A (high) to point B (low) one way or another. The volatility in getting there is short-term trader fear, IMO. https://www.nasdaq.com/articles/goldman-sachs-surprising-investment-forecast A couple of funds I've dipped into that seem to be poised for success and have kept the momentum from this week's "rally", YNM and ARGT (Vietnam and Argentina ETFs).
