  1. This takes me back... my father led us in Den 2 of 101 from 93-97. Spent a lot of time at that chuch with pinewood derbies & such. Great to hear it's still alive and well.
  2. Still great but very different than the Drip I grew up in. Expansion at the Y will be amazing but closer to Drip itself you really feel the strain of growth without the infrastructure to support it. If you're near Hamilton you have great access to Bee Cave, etc. Beautiful country out there.
  3. Not a bad way to spend the night
  4. Sick build and beautiful screen!
  5. Some pretty good diagrams here https://support.fractal-design.com/support/solutions/articles/4000194849-terra-cpu-cooler-gpu-support SFF reddit can be a pretty good resource as well. My only issue was RAM (No more gSkill for me) of all things. Spent a month chasing ghosts before I swapped in a new kit with better heatsinks and it's been happy since.
  6. 2 is certainly beautiful and improves on some things but needs a lot of seasoning. It still feels pretty shallow and "on rails", more similar to D4 in a way where player agency & variety is pretty limited. A ton of those negative reviews came because the studio delayed development for 1 to get 2 out the door. I'm confident it will be a great game in a few years. 1 is my favorite game of all time. I've put an ungodly amount of hours into it and am really enjoying the latest league. Truly the best ARPG out there if you have the time & curiosity for it.
  7. Went the SFF route on my last build and had a great time with the Terra. Very smooth build if you plan your dimensions. Nothing crazy but I pretty much play Path of Exile and TFT exclusively so I'm not pushing any boundaries and I wanted to keep it relatively cool & quiet. 8. Why the fuck was he half way to fucking 3rd
  9. Plain English had a great episode on this a few weeks ago.
  10. Straight out of college I bought that mentioned g35x that I couldn't afford to maintain on a stupidly high rate. Started dropping oil after a few years and went downhill from there. Always missed it so the 340i was too much to resist.
  11. I posted a while back looking for advice on my wife's next SUV - finally convinced her to look at low mileage X5s and she's thrilled. Almost jumped at an MDX but she hated that touchpad. What I didn't plan on was trading out of my Model 3 for this a few weeks later... Takes me back to my old G35x. Just a fuck of a lot faster.
  12. My turn to join the fun. Back in June we had some hail roll through (78737) - as I remembered it was pretty small stuff but a lot of it. Didn't think to get anyone out until it seemed like every other house on the block (inc. adjacent houses) had a new roof scheduled or installed. Lots of chasers of course but I had a recommended company come out and they see enough evidence to continue. Also had a friend who deals in metal roofs (adjuster in prior job) come out and he was confident in replacement. They probably all say this but what do I know... Long story short, Traveler's comes out twice with their 3rd party inspector, 2nd time with a rep from the roofing company to show evidence. Come back stating no damage to the roof both times (only covering gutters and fencing...) despite asphalt debris in my drainage areas, etc. Roofers saying we can get their in-house PA/lawyer involved if we want to go that route at no cost to us ("10% of profit claim"??). Roof is from the original build (2008) so I figure it's due for replacement sooner rather than later. Well out of my depth here, just wondering if escalating this thing is common practice or worth the song and dance. Any asshole advice very appreciated.
  13. Way to go Scottie. Unreal luck by Rahm to dunk that
