  1. Something's off. Are they not booing him enough?
  2. I know Mariner, Ranger, Yankee and Dodger fans, among others, join Manfred and company in enjoying this spiral. Whatever. Not sure what can be done except keep grinding with whoever's available and hope for a healthier stretch. There's very little to trade for anyone who might fix this mess in the short term, so rather than further deplete the farm, let's just look to get a few guys back and see if we can somehow heat up again as the season winds down. Hope's about all we have, fading though it might be.
  3. Abreu has perfected the art of inheriting his own runners. 😝
  4. I admire the grit, win or lose.
  5. There's such a thing as terrible luck...and there's such a thing as inept training, conditioning and rehab programs. Given how often our guys are getting hurt and how long some are staying out of commission, odds are we're seeing both. No news to you guys, of course.
  6. Manfred finally got what he wanted: a franchise too depleted from top to bottom to keep winning once the inevitable bad run of injuries lined up. Now I mainly want to keep winning to spite that guy.
  7. Start with the medical staff.
  8. I lived in Marietta for over 40 years...and still can't help you. Not saying the place doesn't exist, but let me know if you discover it.
  9. Castillo's obviously tough, but the reality of our AA lineup has set in. Let's try getting to 60 wins before we start debating if 95 is a realistic goal.
  10. Then again, the exceptional duos presumably would have higher-than-average percentages on those other routes, too.
  11. Nice hypothetical, Looch. Of course, we'll never know. What we CAN say is that the "ball-knowing burnt-orange fan" enjoyed that road win over a wannabe rival whose own HC says we "physically annihilated." Thanks for playing.
  12. I'm personally a fan of this one: https://texags.com/s/19089/coming-soon-on-an-island-being-brandon-jones
  13. And here the Dawg press tries to come across as journalistically pure while still finding a way to hint that Texas bought Atkinson. After all, we bought Terry. https://www.dawgnation.com/football/cj-allen-anthony-hill-help-illustrate-choice-that-5-star-lb-tyler-atkinson-made-with-his-commitment/NKEKLDUYSZENPNUPTZBWIXFBEI/?fbclid=IwQ0xDSwLmCTJleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHi4Lw6R4VY0A7iBhi3zVjy1kwZorwVfDL5u3Xy6bQ8tui_KQJ7UE90-lZwyH_aem_rmivDaEggSrd32R2YhKzpw
  14. For aggy, "breaking tradition" might simply mean they won a game.
  15. Print, frame and hang this where it belongs: in the Louvre.
  16. How about pizzazz? Plenty of that in Texas recruiting this week.
  17. How much wood could a Sawchuk saw if a Sawchuk could saw wood?
  18. Ah, yes, our highly illegal class of 2022. I wouldn't doubt aggy believes a tu operative poisoned Cristobal's mom in Florida so he'd leave Oregon abruptly for Miami and thus hand us Banks and Williams. It's a shame that even with such nefarious moves we still assembled no better than the No. 5 class while Jimbo was being as pure as the driven snow in signing CFB's "best class evar."
  19. Not sure what the numbers say, but just watching matches I always felt we had too many miscues by Akana. Don't mean to bash her, just making a casual observation. I'm eager to see how her replacement does.
  20. What a haphazard collection of athletic ability. Sin City is now The Island of Misfit Toys.
