  1. I say stick with what we have. It’s time we played pissed off and with our backs against the wall. We haven’t had to prove much in a month. It’s time now.
  2. UTSA will give up a lot of runs the rest of the way. If we can somehow get a lengthy pitching performance in game 3, I like our chances. Re-focus your club, Schloss.
  3. Up 6-1 and decided to relax. From there we proceeded to play the worst baseball all season. We don’t have losers bracket pitching.
  4. Flores and Gaspo are incredibly pathetic
  5. Fucking Tuesday night stat stuffer strikes again
  6. Flores is such an average ball player. Can’t wait to watch him strike out next
  7. Staying at Ocean Riviera Paradise in Playa next month. We had some friends stay there in the winter and loved it.
  8. Imagine if Scotty was a smidge more consistent with the putter strike.
  9. Maybe the best coaching job in the history of Texas baseball. It’s fun to watch, I’d love a trip to Omaha. Lineup has a chance to be sneaky good Augie getting the 2000 club to Omaha springs to mind.
  10. Galvan, are you not sitting dead red fast ball when it’s a 3-2 count with the bags full?
  11. Thank you, Sooners. 1-1
  12. A huge ass thorn that one time we played him?
  13. This is the thread of making shit up and talking out of one’s ass.
  14. Early isn’t wanted or needed here
  15. A really great bounce back by the guys. We are all hoping we can somehow get healthy, Schloss is figuring out how to play with what he has.
  16. We need to get healthy and fast.
  17. Played in his golf tournament yesterday. RIP to a great Longhorn and what a weekend to honor him. Jeff hit one out in College Station that still hasn’t landed. Talked shit the entire way around the bases.
  18. I can't think of a case where we've seen a highly rated guy perform below expectation level and suddenly put it together in the NFL. Those highly rated guys are almost always drafted by someone thinking they can find the missing link. Ewers is a much better prospect than a lot of guys taken before him but there's always been something missing. The mental side of it, that "want to", is very hard to predict or evaluate. You have to have shown the production and he's a little light in that department. He's shown he can do just about anything but there's a lack of consistency, there's a lack of ability to snap out of poor play in-game. You have to wonder what the injury reports show. I'm wondering if we have a situation similar to Rod Wright here.
  19. We are so light. They have Flores and Galvan pegged
  20. Every Tuesday game should be used to find another arm or two to help down the stretch. Keep trotting guys out there and give as much opportunity as possible.
  21. This place used to be top 5 in the state and very difficult. The Bermuda Augusta. Temple-Inland used to pump money into it but that stopped years ago. Was a great stay and play trip too.
  22. And he’s on his way to being bigger than Andy Reid
