  1. Texas. 45 Toads. 35 pass yds. 531
  2. Worthy is the best at getting open. If he can just improve on catching it...
  3. For all the shit Choate and PK get, this has one guy who has really improved . I just wish it was contagious.
  4. Works for me.
  5. Campbell 95 heard about the flu situation.😉
  6. Drives that were aided in large part by the zebras. IIRC, 6 of our 7 penalties were incurred in Q4. That includes a phantom roughing the passer on Sweat.
  7. This.
  8. Obviously the parents have concern for his well-being, but do you know if there is heightened concern due to the HS injury or the Q4 play vs Ole Miss? I know he seems to be alright, but that play demonstrates how the injury can "pop up".
  9. Rhule has never worked at a public university, nor one that has meddling boosters near the Auburn level. My comment about fit really had nothing to do with on the field stuff. Not saying he couldn't succeed, I just don't think it's a slam dunk,
  10. KSU Mildcats 42 Horns 35 Mildcats run 76 plays, longest 39
  11. I can see where he'd be a better fit in the midwest. I am not sure that Rhule would be a fit at Auburn either.
  12. Fickell seems like a good hire for someone.
  13. He would help us from day one. If we lose him, it is a gut punch imo.
  14. He probably got us confused with the 2004 sooner squad. Fuck you Skip.
  15. Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose!
  16. So the question for this week is "can we beat off"?
  17. Carries need to increase for Roschon and catches for Bijan. This would level the work load and increase productivity. Well, imo.
  18. Thanks Mrs. Sark.
  19. This is incorrect. Tired of seeing him squander leads and shit the bed on the road. I want us to win and I like Sark. But damn.
  20. Is it against the rules to change QBs when your guy is throwing passes all over the stadium?
  21. Reminds me more of Mackovic. He is going to call his plays regardless of what the game presents him. Not a winning formula, imo.
  22. Yes, indeed.
  23. Wanted to bump this, but also fix some typos. Deryl was injured in the 1/1/69 Cotton Bowl vs Tenn and did not play on the 69 Championship team. That was a shame to me because he was on of the best players on the 68 squad. When he returned to the 1970 team, he was not the same player. FWIW, he played for Highland Park in HS, but he was not the HP stereotype. His roomate was AA OT Bob McKay from Crane (small west Texas town), and I think they had quite a bit in common.
  24. Deryl was a tight end for the Horns from 1966-68 and 1970 (tore up his knee in the 36-13 thrashng of Tennessee Cottoe was a fantastpc athlete whom DKR would put in at DE in goal line situations. Most have probably never heard of him, had he not been injured, Randy Peschel would not be a Longhorn Legend. RIP Mr, Comer.
