So, is this what i saw? A putt that barely made it halfway to the flag and then the he just picked up his ball and motored off?

some sort of house rules thing? get it within 15 feet and call it good?

This is how I play.  It’s why I shoot in the 50’s.  I can’t imagine actually playing golf with him and watching him hit 7 shots on a hole and then tell the me he got a par.  I would lose my shit like I do with my teenage son who does that crap.

We’ll probably see fewer as it gets hotter too.

That’s because the virus will disappear when it gets hotter, like a miracle.  At least that is what I was told.

It's amazing how he demands loyalty to him but he can't/won't reciprocate loyalty to others not named Putin, Kimmie and the Saudis.

I think you are mistaking his loyalty to some of those three as maybe blackmail from the goods they have on him.

  4. I know this isn’t authentic Jambalaya but the family loves this recipe.
    fcab916f7f9880e068460bfd90c635b4.plist

Dice some andouille sausage and fry it up so it’s crisp.

    0d22918e40d01d70931a4bc3bee7a9b6.plist

Remove sausage and add shallots garlic and bell peppers and sweat them for a little. Left the sausage grease in the pan to sauté the veggies cause why the fuck not.

    c94dc59af1b88956ae921a6b52b0a42f.plist

After veggies are soft add a cup of white wine, Cajun seasoning and shrimp.

    e5b415f4eaaef8e7b1f899ff6fe600d8.plist

Once shrimp turn pink at cooked white rice, crawfish tails and some butter.

    08b5cf440c5ce4eb2553a34f4c862b4b.plist

Cook a little bit and squeeze a fresh lemon over it, salt and pepper to taste.

    e408c67616e8d51379d9c82e29a1d6dd.plist

Serve with charred broccoli covered with olive oil, fresh garlic, fresh lemon and salt & pepper. Cook at 475 for 30 min.

Dog is ready for some jambalaya.

Between that, and the people who were outraged because they couldn't go to Red Lobster for two months, you realize that a lot of people live really pathetic lives. It's sad.

Well those cheddar bay biscuits do go well with crappy frozen seafood.

So seeing Donald Trump's motorcade was more important than the birth of her own children?  Everything about the quote screams, "lunatic" and "idiot" merged together.

In the 2016 US Presidential election, approximately 33 million ballots were cast via mailed out ballots (about 25% of all ballots cast

another Trump head fake to distract the nation

his sycophant base falls for it as usual

How many of those 33 million ballots were cast by Republicans who after hearing this on Fox News will start yelling at the top of their lungs how wrong mail in voting is and its all voter fraud.

I kind of wish I was one of that 1%.  I think my mental and physical health would be better if I also did not know who Donald Trump was.

I have to think mail in voting is hideously inefficient and prone to much more human error. Just think of the manpower required to manually count that many votes.

It could also open up the possibility of early numbers being leaked and affecting voter turnout.

I’m of the opinion that it should take a little effort to vote if one is able. It’s one of the great privileges of living here. People stand in line for hours for bbq, ffs.

I also believe voter fraud is largely a non issue.

I get your point that it should take effort but during a possible pandemic (second wave) it would make sense to make sure everybody has the opportunity to vote by mail if it makes it safer for our population to do so.  I can’t believe the Republicans and Fox News are actually making “mail in voting” a bad thing.  It’s not and probably safer than voting at the machines that can easily be hacked.  Then again I expect Trump to start putting up trial balloons to change the constitution to allow “Poll Taxes” again so I still have that to look forward to in the next few months.

While I'm big on AEI, the "careful, staged nature of many reopening measures" is bullshit.  I literally listened to Gov. Abbott announce in this past grouping, that skating rinks and bingo halls could be reopened.  Ah yes, skating rinks and bingo parlors...the backbone of any fundamentally sound poly-sectored economy.......in 1977.

Maybe Abbott just wants to go ice skating.

As someone else posted above, drink your drink.

Not every OF product is the elixir of gods.  To me, that product line is a mixed bag.  Both the 1897 and the 1920 have a bit of a medicinal taste up front that turns me off.  There are many other bourbons and ryes in the same price range (or even less) that I would choose over them.  But the 1910 is very, very tasty, and the rye is an excellent value.  OFBB is a unicorn for me.  Some day . . .

You are definitely right about OF products but I disagree on the 1920.  I think that is one of their better offerings.  The Birthday Bourbon is the best.  I have an old bottle and it is fantastic.  I was drinking the 1910 last night.  I am not one of those guys that can tell you all the different fruits/spices/chocolate flavors you smell and taste but for the first time with any bourbon I could totally smell caramel apples with peanuts when I smelled the 1910 in my glass.  If anybody else has this stuff tell me if you can smell that also.  Kind of curious.

No we’ve gone back and forth before. Remember when you claimed there was a scenario that you could abort a fetus if the mom’s life was in danger faster than you could deliver it via c section?

I’m not a doctor but I wish you were aborted as a fetus.  It would make this board easier to read and I have you on ignore.

  14. I know dick about the stock market but every year I get stock grants from my company and within days or a week tops either the market tanks or my company stock tanks once I get them.  I get grants tomorrow so lets see if this happens again for like the 5th year in a row.

A couple new pickups and another on the way.

    G-Shocks

    All Steel/All Black

Gorilla Galaxy Blue with a few strap options. Summer/Beach watch.

New to this brand, but its a few guys from AP going in a different direction. Anyways, they also have a badass wandering hands watch that I want, but its over $3k and not looking to spend that right now. Plus I don't like  the new version color scheme - the older Drift is better.

Picked up an Oris Aquis Clean Ocean for my wife's (no pics) birthday

Stock photo - No actual pics yet.

It's gorgeous and really a solid watch. Also a shoutout to Lewis Jewelers in Uptown Park. Really friendly event though I didn't buy the watch there and sized it for my wife. Also got to check out their ALS's including a Zeitwerk. So badass, although I wouldn't go with this one.

POS rep for the ALS pic.  Not my favorite one of theirs but bad ass watches is what they make.

weird how a hoax can land so many innocent patriots in jail.

yes but one by one they will be pardoned or the DOJ will choose to stop prosecuting them to make them appear innocent.

    More Barr weasel language,

So he basically hints at abuse of power by Obama and Biden but that it wasn't criminal and by saying they are investigating others it keeps the narrative going that the whole Russia investigation was a hoax and it was just the Obama administration trying to go after Trump and his campaign.  We really need a good poll on Surly to see who is the biggest piece of shit out of Trump, Barr and McConnell.  Maybe it would be a 3 way tie.
