  1. they didn't even review it?
  2. Alabama has just too much talent at every position.
  3. that's that
  4. Trick plays are the only option, I guess
  5. that's not a catch
  6. The halftime adjustment seems to be dive on first instead of second, with the same result.
  7. See, if Michigan had kicked the PA, they would be down by only 7. You go for 2 only if you reasonably think you can't score a TD in the remainder of the game. Otherwise, you see how FG's pan out.
  8. why go for 2 now. There is a whole half left.
  9. This defense show is worse than OU-WVU. Those teams at least had the excuse of facing elite offenses.
  10. How to make a 2nd and 10 a 3rd and 10
  11. 17 seconds, so 2 more touchdowns?
  12. when did we have that happen to us?
  13. Last time OSU did us a favor, we had the Colorado game. Let's not do that again.
  14. OSU did best against the top of Big 12, and sucked against everyone else.
  15. yes!!!
  16. watch out for Grier run play
  17. that's a good catch. 2 more plays
  18. this fair catch to start at 25 is weak
  19. 42 seconds. come on defense.
  20. when the WR is looking back for so long, why doesn't the DB also look back?
  21. I didn't expect the reversal.
  22. Since there are two slots for the title game (#1 and #2), your denominator should be 16, not 32. The percentages should add up to 200 to account for two slots.
  23. 😀 My mom is a frail, barely 5 feet, ~80lb lady. Nothing of her approaches 32B.
  24. Week 7 update. We didn't gain any land. Big change is ISU taking over WVU land. Our endowments have increased to 32B, but still second to ND.
  25. Yes, score is very definite on the winner and loser. But that is one data point. To extrapolate, one will add probability to it, which makes the data point fuzzy by a few points (say, one score), which is within our scoring margin. This means that we have been "lucky" falling within the right side of the fuzzy area, and statistically speaking, we are expected to fall on the wrong side of the fuzzy area in the future. If this happens, S&P would be right. But if we have an uncanny ability to predominantly stay on the right side of the fuzzy area, then there is something to our game plan, style of play, etc. that is outside the norm, and hence be an exception to normative team play.
