Sidenote: the Aledo dynasty is more annoying than the LT/SLC/Katy ones were put together.
Aledo’s dynasty ends the moment they get bumped up to 6A. They were just 8 kids below the cutoff line for the upcoming cycle.

Field goals ain’t gonna cut it for SV.
Y’all are right though, that should’ve been defensive pass interference or holding.
-
What a great effort by Henderson on that last run. Looked like there was no way he was getting that first down initially.
-
That was a fun first half. 28-20 Gilmer.

The 3A games were solid, but that’s it so far. The rest of these games have been terrible.

Jordan Scruggs (Horns 247)
The mystery visitor that we wrote was visiting campus today happened to be South Carolina wide receiver transfer Juice Wells.
In speaking with sources throughout today, Horns247 is told that the visit did not take place due to a cancellation. As things currently stand, I’m not sure if the visit will be rescheduled.
Our 9.95ers are dumb as hell.
And why the hell would this need to be a secret anyways. Wells is openly in the portal and openly taking visits.- 1

All true and also exactly why TXST instead of TSU is dumb.
TSU= Texas Southern for a lot of people in Texas.
I’m sure they could’ve bullied their way to being the dominant TSU over the HBCU, but not sure it was a battle worth fighting.

Well, That was an arse whooping.

Also seemed like they’d never seen a slant route before.

Unbalanced regions.

Watching Bussey play against 2A competition is pretty funny.

There's no way to spin the absolutely shitshow that is aggy. Usually new coaches get a recruiting bump. Elko and his staff are having to poach Old fucking Dominion for players. Holy fuck what a miserable situation they dug for themselves.
Aggy is a shit show, but the new coach bump is a thing that happens in their first full recruiting cycle not in the transition class.

Nevada?

If it were Nevada, he probably wouldn’t be leaving before the playoff games.- 1

Frees up another spot. Looks like we are in it for legit 4 more recruits
We don’t need to free up another spot. We only have 20 commits.
For context, Sark took 25 last year and 28 the year before that.

At least people will finally shut up asking about him.

Isn’t he related to Raiola, the former husker’s OL.

Yep, and his uncle Donovan (Dominic’s brother) is the Nebraska OL coach

Rotate it across DFW, Houston, and maybe San Antonio. All have domes. For some reason this triggers some people on this forum but I’m not sure how anybody can objectively argue for having it in one place every year that’s not centrally located. Not fair to the kids or their families and supporters.
Didn't they move it to Houston years back and the attendance numbers were way down?
Yep. Houston attendance sucked, and also, NRG stadium charges way more to host the games than Jerryworld does. Everyone makes it out to be some grand conspiracy, but it’s no secret that the schools and the UIL make way more money hosting the games in Arlington. That’s why they’re there.

DFW v. Houston in both 6A finals. To be expected, I guess
Even more specifically, it’s district 11-6A vs 21-6A.

Well I was on the 6A forum and everyone was saying this is the sorriest NS team in years. Westlake just couldn’t beat them. The consensus over there is Duncanville will wax them next week and NS will fall off the planet next year.
I agree this isn’t a typical NS team, but this Duncanville team isn’t as great either. Most picks I saw at the beginning of the postseason still had North Shore winning it all.

I only know of two, one who has offers to Army and Rice and the other to Houston.
But yes, Other than being bigger and faster at most every position NS has a talent disadvantage
I guess they still have the talent advantage, but this is definitely not a vintage North Shore team.
-
Duncanville cruising over North Crowley up 24-0 at the half.
-
Final: DeSoto 45 Southlake 38.
DeSoto didn’t even play all that well and still walk out with the W. Most talented team in the state.

I think you may be overrating Duncanville and underrating DeSoto.
DeSoto beat Duncanville by two touchdowns in the regular season.
