  1. OTF is having a happy hour at Gresso’s in German Village, Guild House has a typical nice hotel restaurant bar area but I wouldn’t recommend hanging out there for more than a drink or two
  2. It was the real deal before all of the injuries.
  3. Hence why they reviewed the Swede catch but not the Melton TD.
  4. Jackson swung to LT after Simmons got hurt and was excellent. By far their best OL after the Simmons and McLaughlin injuries. Buckeye media and 9.95ers are Indistinguishable from their Sooner counterparts. Programs are eerily similar except Ohio State has more money and no instate rival.
  5. Buckeyes are overrating this OL because they were solid in the playoffs with elite RBs and and an experienced QB with strong running ability and good size. They also looked good in fall camp against a pedestrian DL whose best players were played sparingly due to weak depth and injury concerns. The Buckeye OL will be fine but they have a much more difficult job this season with a physically weak pocket QB and a significantly downgraded RB room.
  6. Won’t P4s require a home and home series? I think we will always schedule 1 blue blood P4 and two G5s.
  7. Herbie, as we all know, is a fake cunt. Just a bad guy
  8. They would of course say that the recruited talent was just too strong for the transfers to beat out. In reality, the Buckeye program was begging the donors who were tapped out from the 2024 investment to provide the funds needed to fill glaring holes on the roster that could torpedo the 2025 season. Those guys clearly weren’t the solution and I think the reality is that the Buckeye OL will be solid but certainly not some all time unit and the DL will be their weakest in years.
  9. He’s a toned down Herbstreit. Constantly fellating the coaches and administrators who provide him access while criticizing the unreasonable fans who question their genius. There are many worse media personalities in the college football community.
  10. The Buckeye media and internet fan base are the exact same as the Sooners. They all wanted to fire Ryan Day in December.
  11. Agreed. Florida has beaten UGA once since 2016 and it was the COVID year. Last 4 games have involved a top 2 UGA against an unranked Florida. Still 5th for me behind UGA, tOSU, OU and aggy
  12. Agree that the most logical explanation is Goosby is hurt worse than reported and they don’t like Chatman or Brooks starting at LT against tOSU and are trying to find an answer. This is obviously a disaster scenario for that game. They also may not like what Neto has done at LG and prefer moving Hutson there and starting Robertson at C. They are then trying Neto at LT because they also don’t like their options at backup OT.
  13. Troy Smoth got fat on the awards circuit
  14. Nahlin was saying Shaw and Kanu are running as the 1s at DT. Not sure how this is evident from position drills and I recognize the doubts regarding his credibility but I’m still electing to jump all in on the DT rotation.
  15. Depth at every level on D appears to be insane. enhanced physicality from the OL would be significant I’m not expecting anything from Baxter until late in the season if at all. Gerry is basically suggesting that he is still working back to moving around smoothly much less playing college football at an elite level. I have no idea who will emerge at WR as the top guys but someone will given the numbers and opportunity.
  16. You can now also walk around a lot of downtown with a drink until 10. This area includes where most of you are staying.
  17. I could draw you a route that would be fine for walking back but it’s a bit of a hike (3 miles). OSU games are not that intense any more although I do think this will be an exception despite the early start. The average game environment there now is relatively corporate
  18. Junto is nice. Good restaurant and bars on site. It is in a completely rebuilt area of downtown. Brew Dog and Land Grant breweries are walking distance. Land Grant is great
  19. All of my recommendations for the Residence Inn also apply to the Renaissance. It’s just a block east of the residence inn. Try to get your reso at Lindeys on the patio although they often say it’s first come first served there. Lindey’s is in the middle of a residential neighborhood so not a ton of bars within close walking distance but there are a bunch of good bars about a half mile south. Laundry, Cobra, Antiques on High and Law Bird are all within a block or so
  20. Someone addressed this before but the general coordination/athleticism of these ostriches is shocking. Pro women’s soccer is clearly slower and less skilled than the men’s game but they at least play the sport capably.
  21. Moxy is a pretty good location. Lox bagel shop and North Star cafe are close and very solid breakfast options. Press grill is a great dive bar late night spot right across the street basically. Residence inn is a good location downtown. The bourbon bar is just ok but a cool setting. The Citizens Trust bar is great and about a block away. Very solid restaurants are very close as well at Veritas (maybe high end for a football game), Hank’s and Speck. A few good breweries in that area in Wolf’s Ridge and Jackie Os. Tip top is a great dive bar across the street and pins is a fun spot a couple block away,
  22. Nice false equivalency
  23. Her career took place in the immediate wake of the Nasser shit so I’ll give her a pass on the man hating. Gymnastics is one of the most fucked up sports and few of the elite ones emerge mentally unscathed.
  24. Brenden Aaronson can play a role on the World Cup squad. CB and GK are concerns but this tournament was useful to fill out the roster. Luna played himself on. Tillman probably starts at the 10 now. I’m still praying that Cardoso can do something for this team. Dude has done well in La Liga. Im actually feeling better about going into next year but I was at a nadir. Mexico’s A team didn’t impress me. I was expecting more.
