  1. The hobbits didn't arrive there until over 1500 years into the Third Age
  2. The Shire comes much later so it shouldn't featured in the show at all.
  3. All Harfoots (Harfeet) are hobbits but not all hobbits are Harfoots. The show's treatment of them isn't inconsistent with lore, although Tolkien barely addresses the existence of hobbits before the Third Age.
  4. It's unwatchable. Awful product at this point.

    Great move for Brooks

Robinson has definitely played well but Fulham had nothing else at LB. Can't blame Fulham for getting some cover there but Kurzawa is legitimate competition for the position

Fulham picked up Kurzawa from PSG on loan. Bad news for Robinson and the USMNT.
  8. Aaronson very lucky that Gray was offsides by an inch there
  9. He sounds smart

Just read that Haji has 14 goals in his last 14 league games. Turkey but still impressive.

We are only taking three 9s and right now its Jesus, Sargent and Pefok. It only takes a few goals to get back in contention though as evidenced by Haji Wright's apparent resurrection.
  12. That's the basic issue. They have almost no source material (including no dialogue) and had to create many characters and fill in massive gaps in the story much of which appears to be inconsistent with Tolkien's total works. Galadriel is clearly the main character in this show and her role in the Second Age timeline in the Appendices is limited to a single sentence. These showrunners may be amazing writers capable of creating a brilliant show but it is very roughly based on Tolkien (inspired by not an adaptation).
  13. It's Tolkien fan fiction. It may ultimately prove to be solid Tolkien fan fiction, but converting Galadriel into a Xena/Rey hybrid is not a promising premise.
  14. That is about as consistent with Tolkien's works as this show appears to be. The parallels to Game of Thrones without source material are eerie. Also, what the fuck is that music in the trailer.

Good to see. Anyone but Aaron Long
  16. Go for sure
  17. People from Columbus died trying to save Dimebag and others from the shooter, including one dude who was trying to give him CPR. It's like saying Fuck Uvalde. At least the people of Columbus, including the police, immediately tried to stop the shooter. Moron
  18. The venue in Columbus is solid. Perfect size, great location, good sound, quick access to drinks and bathrooms and super easy exit.
  19. Tell that to Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson and Georgia.

I'm definitely more optimistic regarding Qatar than I was a week ago. Pefok can't stop scoring and Sargent looked fantastic as well. Next step is for Turner and Richards to see the field more in the Prem but that will take some injuries.

Bremen comes back from 2-0 down to win 3-2. Gio is the laziest American I have ever seen
  22. 9/13 MMJ 10/21 Caamp (should be interesting to see them in the arena setting) 11/13 Joe Walsh & Friends 11/15 Trey and Goose

    Led Zeppelin

I was merely objecting to your statement that I quoted. No one is going to argue that the Stones' overall body of work doesn't contain a bunch of shit. That said, the Stones' glory period was basically devoid of filler, much like Zeppelin's. Zeppelin also benefits from Page working through his growing pains before the Zeppelin era and breaking up as they were declining.

    Of those albums? Insane

    Led Zeppelin

The Stones have at least five albums with no filler (Beggars Banquet, Let it Bleed, Sticky Fingers, Exile and Some Girls). Zeppelin has six. Massive difference there.
