  1. This is pretty close to my take, but I lean a lot more pro-regime change. I do fully support air attacks directly and sea support indirectly. I strenously object to US ground forces in Iran. I'd also much prefer the use non-vested non-US leaning intermediary assistance in the rebuilding. Particularly as it relates to cultural aspects. I also openly acknowledge all my wants and preferences may be wishing in one hand. Those positions form from what I admit is a weird quasi-isolationist world view. Help a man learn to fish, but don't tell him how to tie flies or what sort of fishing rig to use, if you like analogies.
  2. Do you hold the same position for the Ukraine? Are you unable to see how this helps the Ukraine? Do you hold the same position on the leadership of Russia as Iran? Do you object to US involvement in Ukraine? Do you also think Israeli leadership should remain status quo?
  3. Don't forget Trump Sebastian Terhan. or Trump Rock House Hormuz with its reddish orange sand beaches
  4. Pro or con, hopes for diplomacy resolution appear to be wish casting at this point. The rest of the ME has pretty much stepped back from the table other than emphasizing the need for OG production to be unharmed thus allowing Israel to free fly over Iran. The OG caution was essentially fired at both Iran and Israel, which to me implies the oil money is good with Israel taking out Iran, but not Iran's OG. Which tracks as they appear sick of Iran's shit, always hated one another and know it will also filter to the Gaza noise ultimately if the Palestinians power back is removed. I'm extremely confident Israel was dedicated to finishing this one from the onset. All of that helps create some at least perceived stability which is good for OG business. US leadership heard the battle cry of the OG money men, conviently sided with their only "friend" in the region and put the tankers in the air for the B2s. Trump steps away from G7. Nothing is of course set in stone, but if anyone sees this differently than I do, I'm open to hearing why they think so. For the record, I've said it before but for clarification, I'm all for Iranian leadership getting taken down. There are lots of reasons for it. First, I'm personally tired of this can being kicked down the road. I also want the people of Iran out from under that oppressive regime and to hopefully find autonomy. I recognize a new puppet regime could come in or worse group, but like to believe it might not. It also not so indirectly positively help Ukraine and that's great. Finally, I truly believe its better for the west in respect to terror threats. Edit - I do openly acknowledge this is likely very bad for Palestinians and understand why some would take issue with my perspective. I try looking at the bigger picture and see what is best more most humans while admitting my own/US self interest/preservation bias.
  5. I'm rather enjoying it. No it's not award winning but it's goofy, has some funny internal monologs, quirky characters and silliness. It's a scifi sitcom based on a self aware, "on spectrum" robot that punches at both liberal and conservative ideas. So, it's bound to ruffle some feathers but I like it.
  6. Leave us kids alone?
  7. Was it lobster bisque? If so, definitely need some more details.
  8. Added some detail but most came from the link below. All info is behind a paywall that I'm not interested enough to pay to see. https://tankertrackers.com/ From the Reuters link above: The multinational, U.S.-led Combined Maritime Force's JMIC information centre said in an advisory this week that it had received reports of electronic interference stemming from the vicinity of Iran's Port of Bandar Abbas (in Iran) and other areas in the Gulf region.
  9. Yes.. "electronic interference". Guessing it's to keep investing calm, but perhaps legit. I'm very suspicious of such coincidences. Link added. Here ya go: Two oil tankers collide and catch fire near Strait of Hormuz DUBAI/COPENHAGEN - Two oil tankers collided and caught fire on Tuesday near the Strait of Hormuz, where electronic interference has surged during conflict between Iran and Israel, but there were no injuries to crew or spillage reported. 10. Top Russian security official holds talks with N.Korea's Kim for second time in two weeks. Looks to me like both Norks and Orcs are about to double down. I had not heard about the "passenger" train at the end of the article. Found it interesting. "Do you dream of travel? Ever wanted to see the beauty of the Russian empire. We're re-opening our passenger service train for first class travel to visit the beautiful cities in our closest ally's amazing country. Sign up now at your nearest With Love for Un, Travel Services Branch." - Nork TV advertising Paylink
  11. I do understand a why the G7 is pushing for more sanctions and fully support it. I just think at this point Putin is in way too deep and nothing is stopping him short of his over throw/assassination. That said, these sanctions leading to more economic hardship could potentially press that coup time frame forward. KANANASKIS - Britain on Tuesday announced further sanctions against Russia over the war in Ukraine, in what Prime Minister Keir Starmer will describe as part of a coordinated move by the Group of Seven (G7) countries. 12. Analyst post 7 min ago from Al Jazeera relevant imo: Link
  13. Per Reuters: UK maritime firm says it is aware of incident east of UAE's Khor Fakkan Reuters paylink
  14. Obviously pure speculation, but with the military aircraft, moves by US democrats and G7 attendees to keep US out/pull off a cease fire... it may mean some big bombs are heading that way. I don't think they're going IDF ground at all.
  15. True, but from where I'm sitting way less intriguing.
  16. Clearly, you need some Surly creeper pic lessons.
  17. What. Do you mean? Why people all worried about grammar and punctuation its not that big of a deal.
  18. Who says its not already in the works my man?
  19. Maybe a little racist but I'm suprised there are Mexican food restaurants in Vietnam.
  20. No doubt, no doubt. You wanna pull a fit ho, throw yo fish in a cooler and take them big bass to the gym. Snap a selfie there with them then while reppin' your fresh slab. Pimpin' ain't easy playa!
  21. Well per Reuters Trump is leaving G7 early and Marcon hoping in one hand...
  22. Well, I was trying to be modest but as an old short fat poor slob, I have to show off my top asset.
  23. I curate my very limited social media (basically just IG) a lot. Artists, comedians, and people I know. My pics are boring for most, but my friends and family appear to enjoy them. Mostly my dogs and nature pics. Occasional trip pics. That's it.
