  1. Just picked up a '25 Hyundai Ioniq5 for my oldest. Colorado has insanely cheap leases for these vehicles right now. Sticker price of almost $50k and I paid just over $200/mo with only first payment down on a 24 month lease. My first EV, but I'm impressed with how it drives. It was an easy choice with how fucked the used car market is. I'm not paying $15k for a 10 year old Outback or Rav4 with 100k miles.
  2. Trinity has always put a priority on early decision. I did not apply that way, but my wife did. She also did the Trinity Summer (don't know if they still do that), which also helps. They will offer your kid a fuckton of financial aid, though. That's what the huge endowment is for.
  3. If he gets into Mines, you can crash on @Beau Vine's couch when you visit.
  4. Texas fan calling Colorado fans fat? That's a new take.
  5. On what? We might have spent $500 and I thought my wife went crazy.
  6. I'm a big fan of 1924. Have almost killed my second bottle. OF just hits my tastebuds the right way.
  7. Yeah, I have a huge trade imbalance with the grocery store.
  8. What did you pay for which new Mazda? Need to buy my kid a car and used prices are dumb
  9. Would be hilarious if they still end up checking the same number of bags that they used to, but the majority are done for free at the gate, eliminating the revenues after they've already alienated their best customers.
  10. When you ask one of these idiots to explain how things were worse under Democrats, you can see smoke come out of their ears. Everything has to be the Dems fault because otherwise they voted for the wrong guy.
  11. Trinity has a huge endowment and used to provide a lot of scholarships and other aid packages other than loans to keep costs affordable. I assume they still do, but I'm not 100%.
  12. CU and CSU went through that probably 15-20 years ago and there was a huge outcry when one year's freshman class at CU had more out of state than in state kids in it. I think they are required to have more in state kids in every class now. But they do love the OOS tuition.
  13. That's my whole point. Even if UT had joined the PAC, they still would have left for the SEC $$. CFB is now just like MLB. There are a handful of haves and a bunch of have nots.
  14. Yeah, at the end of the day, major consolidation is coming and even current members of the B1G and SEC will be left out. The fact is that once schools and boosters were allowed to pay players directly, this was always going to be the end result. Too bad for you guys T Boone kicked it already or you could be competitive. Oregon will get left at the roadside as soon as Uncle Phil dies.
  15. Media deal would have still expired when it did and Texas would have still left for the SEC, IMO.
