  1. Fried masa and cornmeal, chili, cheese, white onion, maybe slight variations on the proportions involved but it is essentially the same dish. And certainly the same food group.
  2. I don’t think that I need any notes on the flavor profiles involved from a poster that can’t make a grilled cheese without burning it.
  3. Frito pie and texmex cheese enchiladas are basically the same dish. Also tamales with chili and cheese topping.
  4. Never had COVID or a positive test, but seroconverted. Must be all the good living and dice rolling.
  5. Best pizza is the area currently being run out of Winston's near lake travis middle school. Sorry for the half ass pics, I have a family of fn savages.
  6. Cute prissy slap fight taking place here. Every country with nuke capabilities has a variety of contingency plans to use those weapons within the scope and to the extent that their deployment capabilities allow. Arguing otherwise is pure delusion. Even more delusional is the so-called rules-based international order that ostriches when it comes to enforcing nuclear non-proliferation interests consistently.
  7. Look, if you are not a technocrat that can assess military procurement manifests you really have no basis to comment on the dysfunction of American foreign policy from an outcomes oriented perspective. Get it. Just suck it up and get on the merry go round.
  8. A couple of decades look back is far too long. American foreign policy perspective operates in much shorter timeframes. Which is how we end up supporting saddam before we didn’t, overthrowing democracy outcomes in Iran, propping up the mujahideen that morphs into the taliban, etc. What we really need is more condescending state department mouthpieces to tell the people that have linger attention spans how out of touch they really are.
  9. Surprised the ump didn’t call it a strike.
  10. cool, cool. look what they found in the crater.
  11. Man, I am sure glad that twitter is here to clear this up and provide pictures of the crater in the church compound and the rubble of the admin/hall building. The katholikon of the church compound thankfully appears to have only superficial damage. Here is the entrance to the compound, and an after picture. Note the inscription and cross above the entrance and in the rubble. The large crater with that has a tapestry of the nativity sitting in it in some of the online images is directly to the left of this image.
  12. I think that lentils is a new take on this thread.
  13. Hey look man, Jesus needs his landing strip in Jerusalem, so just deal with it ok? [/dispensationalists]
  14. Uh, you're the one that told another poster "Maybe we should also read a history book". So that seems like a weird fucking rant. If you want a book suggestion from me, I would suggest maybe you consider: https://www.amazon.com/Blood-Brothers-Dramatic-Palestinian-Christian/dp/154090217X/
  15. So awesome, images and reports of the bombing of the St. Porphyrius church compound in Gaza coming through. This is a place where Palestinian Christians in particular have been seeking refuge. Early reports are that the two story admin building that was housing refugees was flattened. The images and video being shared online are clearly in the church compound, and well, shit looks pretty bad. We'll get to see how this one shakes out. There were reports a week ago or so that were not accurate, so again, will need to let the assessments play out.
