  1. With the way he feels about us coloreds coupled with how many black people he is friends/coworkers with, he would probably love to wear that Tshirt Ole Jack is wearing in your link.
  2. There is some bitchass in the game thread. If you didn't watch the gane you would think Ewers threw 4 picks and missed eleventy billion receivers.
  3. I like the blatant pick right in front of the ref where he put a solid shoulder into the defender.
  4. He's not complaining. He is making fun of people for saying Sark won't let Quinn run.
  5. Yep. Quinn's story is like my daughter's story(if she weren't a type 1 diabetic) when she gets to college vball. Kid from nice suburb had parents who could afford good training so she came out good at sports. Lol
  6. They are from Southlake.....and no good backstory.
  7. This guy gets it. Sark is playing for next week.
  8. Slorch is the Jack Hanna of black people yall.
  9. Teams with gimpy QBs don't wanna run them so they sacrifice the backups to us....
  10. You still haven't answered his fucking question. How about doing that? He has asked a few times now.
  11. You are literally describing every Christian who has a big house, nice cars, handbags, clothes, and jewelry. Or in other words.......all of Texas. Lol
  12. We are taking my daughter's club team and the parents to the UH game. Should be a good one.
  13. I was going to let you make it but then I went back and read this...and then Slorch posted this. Lol "This is exactly what I am talking about". You can't even see it. Every black person on this thread has been caught in this conflict that you described. The problem is you aren't asking why that is. They are in conflict because they have to conform to what white society says is the correct way to do things in order to be successful. That includes how they speak, dress, behave, wear their hair, and even the vehicle they choose to drive. If a white kid came home dressed like a black kid their parents would lose their shit. However, they need not worry about it because white kids don't have to do that in order to make it in this world. It's only a problem that the black community wants to hold onto its culture. Go onto the A&M thread and look at the comments made about Jimbo's kid showing up on the sideline with chains and such on. Look at the part of your post I bolded. Just like @Catdaddyhorn horn said its hard baked into society that things black people do are seen as negative. Look at how you depicted him. Wearing gold chains, listening to rap, and being flashy = negative. If a black guy wears a 200k chain what do we say? Ignorant. Thug. If a white guy has a Patek on his wrist we celebrate it. You can drive a S63 and people tip the cap. What do they say if you drive an old school with candy paint and 26's? Why would you spend so much on rims. Thug. Waste of money. They are both wastes of money, though 10 years down the road the old school has held its value. When my wife breaks out her nice handbags people compliment them. Same damn waste of money. It's all flashy, but if the majority community doesn't recognize the behavior its seen as negative. You may come out of the house in a Patagonia shirt. Your neighbor, the country boy, might wear camo or some fishing shirt. Even though that is different than what you wear its still part of the acceptable community garb. I don't dress like Deion, but I do know a lot of people who do. So yes, I take offense to you calling something you don't understand negative based on what YOU think people should and shouldn't do. He doesn't represent all of us but he does represent a decent slice of the pie, just like PFG, Oakley wearing guy does to you. That's the problem. We don't want to let people do what they want to do. If they aren't like us they go in the bad box. Other cultures. Other gender identities. Other sexual orientations. Yeah Deion is loud. Go play Spades or Bones with black people and everyone is a Deion Sanders. I am cool with shit talkers that tip the cap when it doesn't go their way. Look at what you wrote-"Reserved and respectful". "Dumb down publicly". As if the only way to be respectful or intelligent is to look and speak the way YOU think they should look or speak. "Poor black kids not being accepted in their community for getting good grades". That's not what black people are on about. Once again. Maybe you need to think about how you view the world. Newsflash, you won't. You and the others(like Slorch) will continue to make thinly veiled comments and then be dismissive and defensive when people call you out on them. The gold chain has been around for decades in the black community, and not just for thugs and gangsters. Michael Jordan, some of y'alls biggest hero, was a two chain wearing thug/gangster. I'm out on this topic.
  14. CTJ is the spawn of "I know a guy" guy and "smartest guy in the room" guy. He likes to tell us how he is mixing it up with all the big wigs in the Texas program and then come in here swinging his dick around with eloquently composed insults. I like his shtick. It keeps the board colorful. He generally isn't a sore loser when he is wrong, which is often. However, sometimes you gotta know when to move on from the back and forth with him Chewy. Throw your jabs and get out.
  15. This is how I see it. CU is the puppy trying to hump the entire conference. Fake it til you make it. Establish dominance lol.
  16. I don't know. Riley teams usually do well vs the ones they are clearly better than. It's when they come up against a team of somewhat equal talent where they fold. I see them rolling over for one of the other big dogs in the conference. CU, as currently constructed, is just a try hard.
