  1. Feels like the typical 5-7 or 6-6 type of season after what we've witnessed unfold in the last 2 weeks. USC could go either way, their offense is completely dysfunctional, but the Texas defense has taken a significant step back from last season. The D-line is just flat out abysmal outside of Nelson. TCU is going in balls deep with no lube they have completely owned the match up the past 4 seasons and it hasn't been close and based on what I've seen this season I don't expect that to change.

  2. I don't see USC throttling Texas, but wouldn't be shocked if they won a 13-10 heartbreak type of game where Sam turns the ball over near the end of the game to seal the deal. If Sam doesn't turn the ball over 2-3 times in crucial moments and the defense can actually force some turnovers that could go the other way. Barely scraping by a Tulsa team that finished 2-10 last season isn't a reason for optimism.

  3. Stand a better chance of beating USC. Gary Patterson owned the last clown to coach here and is off to a good start against the current clown running the show. The last 4 match ups against TCU = 153-33 and this year I'd say TCU is certain to continue that dominance.

I don't think any team offered more than a 5th-6th rounder for Foles. He played fine, considering he had zero deep threats without Alshon, and for some reason Ertz played like shit. The interception wasn't a good throw but it was also a lucky bounce to be picked. Foles was in total control the second half, got the ball out quickly and ran the hurry-up offense when ATL was gassed.

I'm obviously really happy how that game went. Eagles defense remains outstanding, the offense will only get better/healthier and it is amazing to have a coach who you don't spend the whole game questioning his decisions. That was a big win over a fellow NFC playoff contender.

The Browns offered their 2nd round pick (35 overall).

  5. I'll pull for Rick Barnes anytime he's not playing Texas. The end of his tenure was a fiasco, but he put together a respectable run and his replacement is raking in $3 million yearly for one and dones and a .500 record.

  6. The Eagles should've dumped Foles off when they received numerous offers after the 2017 season. The 2014/2015 version of Foles made his not so triumphant return, he didn't even have much to do with Philly's go ahead scoring drive that was primarily the 15 yard face mask penalty and the long run by Clement. 19/34 for 117 yards  and 1 pick is hilariously bad.

Because I'm sick of losing and all the negative crap related to not winning.

You, me and everybody else around here. The good news is Tulsa sucks so there's always that.

  8. The best hope for that stretch is 3-3 and that'll take a miracle. Tulsa sucks, USC was shaky in their debut and anything can happen at the Cotton Bowl. Texas has played much better against OU as underdogs in recent years. Manhattan has been an absolute bane and any one here thinking KSU will be easy to beat in Manhattan is heavily deluded by some good drugs. TCU is tough as hell and they've owned Texas in recent years to the tune of 153-33 over the last 4 meetings. That is a straight up prison style anal rape with no lube.

For those of you wanting Coach Bro for an OC, you didn't see the Tech game Saturday.  I know they lost their starting QB but his play calling was fucking pathetic.

But I am all in for Leach.  Dude put Tech on the the map.  After he left ,Tech has been dog shit for a decade.  Goes to Wash St. and takes the conference doormat and turns it around.  Imagine what he could do here.

That's my #1 choice. Tech was mediocre before his arrival and he turned them into a team that was winning 8+ games  a year consistently and you're right after they canned him they went down the tubes quickly. Wazzu was Kansas bad and he's built them into a respectable team and it would be interesting to see what he could do at Texas with a good defensive coordinator. You know damn well he'd run the score up on Tech every year too haha.

Better than Sam. 9-7 > 2-5. Case actually put the fucks to OU pretty good on one occasion and led the late game comeback to hold the eternal scoreboard against the aggy.

Leach's tenure at Texas would look a lot like Mackovic's. Lots of big wins, some really bad losses, maybe even a couple of conference championships.... and it would end really badly after 5-6 years.

Conference championships are something the last dip shit never even came close to sniffing and the current arrogant dip shit will never sniff.  Leach built a perennial 6-6 team into a respectable team that was winning 8 or more games every season at Tech and at Washington St he turned around a team that was winning 2 games a season into a team that is winning 8-9 games. I'm sick of Texas hiring these phonies who win 10 games a season in some shitty backwater mid major conference and flame out in the most inglorious fashion. The worst part about Herman is that he's a major prick about it in the process. Could it really be any worse than being swept by a shitty Maryland team and losing to the Big 12's Junior College Kansas?

watch the Stanford game to see if USC is soft. I don't think they are nearly as good as last year, too many NFL losses.

they lost 10 guys to the NFL

They're still a better team than Maryland for fuck's sake and they don't have an interim coach running the show with a black cloud looming over their program.

  13. Tom Herman is an arrogant prick. I'm to the point where I'd take Mike Leach. The pirate isn't a soft bitch and would win 9+ games a season. He's been competitive in the conference at Tech and would love to bury them year in and year out. Give the pirate a decent DC and he would win 9+ games yearly which would be a breath of fresh air compared to the Strong and Herman eras.

  14. Hell I'd take Derp face McCoy over Sam or frail Shane. Sam is making the same mistakes he made as a freshman, he hasn't learned anything. Buchele is fragile and can't survive behind a porous OL. The arrogant prick of a coach we're stuck with seems to think every thing is fine and dandy, it's going to be a long season. I'd say bring on Bball season, but Shaka is another overrated flame out of a hire.

This is the type of game that will serve as fuel for the rest of the season. This year will be special, this team will be special.

Im drawing a line in the sand...who believes in this team and Tom Herman? State your side now, do you stand with Texas and this team? I don’t want your bandwagon ass on our side when we get this ship turned around. It’s easy to be a fan when everything is going well. A true fan is there in the darkest of times.

I believe in this team and I’m behind them 100%.

How many bong hits did you take before posting this? Over 100?
