  1. This is Penny. We found her at a neighborhood park a couple of years ago. She was ~14 weeks old. Matted fur, fleas, ticks and starving. She is one of the best dogs I’ve ever been around.
  2. 700K, so probably part of that 1.7M?
  3. I wondered what was moving FRSX it this morning. Also, I just now had a large buy order of SNVP execute at $.0003
  4. Mask participation here in Midland has been quite low. Many times, I'm the only non-employee in an establishment (store, gas station, restaurant, etc) wearing one. However, when I went to the post office this morning I was shocked that every single person had one on. Then on my way out, I saw the sign on the door that masks are required in order to enter. I guess this is something the local branch decided?
  5. Gov Abbot just announced all Bars to close and restaurants to go back to 50% capacity https://gov.texas.gov/news/post/governor-abbott-takes-executive-action-to-contain-spread-of-covid-19
  6. 95 new cases in Midland County yesterday up from a previous high of 35 new cases. The graph looks similar to the Aggy football enthusiasm meter as they run through their non conference schedule each year: Fortunately, it looks like most of the current cases are the relatively lower risk 'under 40' crowd: What is the general consensus here regarding the idea that these younger (and in theory) healthier folks getting it is a good thing to start building the herd immunity? The presupposition being that like the flu, most of us will get it eventually.
  7. Farm thread is that way ----->> Good story tho
  8. Total shot in the dark, but I'm looking for dry gas wells if anyone knows of anything. Preferably Midland Basin, but Eastern Shelf and Central Basin Platform work too. Trying to stay away from the Delaware for now and New Mexico can go fuck itself. Thanks in advance.
  9. Just grabbed some more ALPP at $.066 My ALPN has made me quite happy the last couple of days
  10. This thread hits close to home as I'm currently at the ranch while reading it. I live in west Texas, but our ranch is in Llano county. I think a ranch is defined by where it is. In west Texas, a section is a small ranch. But in central Texas, it seems like something as small as a quarter section would be considered a ranch.
  11. For those who feel like they are missing out. Last trades on ALPP were around $.065 Time to load up
  12. Heard over the weekend that Concho had 300+ take the early retirement package they were offering. I think they were shooting for about a 20% workforce reduction, so that should get them pretty close. I'm thinking some of the subsequent layoffs will be higher up on their org chart in order to have the most financial impact.
  13. The username, the avatar and the gutters & strikes reference didn't go unnoticed. bravo
  14. $32.75 This makes zero sense to me, this is all sentiment right? There can't be a fundamental case for a return to these prices.
  15. When I clearly said "gatherer" in my earlier post, then you replied talking about a marketer. I just needed to make sure we were on the same page
  16. I think the confusion is the difference between gatherer and marketer. Gatherer, my friend's company, takes barrels directly from the E&P and pipes them to a sales point in either Midland or Ft. Stockton or similar. The Marketer, Plains, et al, takes it from there to the ultimate sales point. I believe the marketers are indeed 'paying up' for barrels to meet their contractual obligations downstream for the month.
  17. Had this exact conversation with a friend in the gathering business late last week. He said customers that had "shut everything in" were already calling last week asking if they can nominate some barrels mid-month.
  18. This has worked the last two days. Buy SCO (triple levered oil bear ETF) in the morning when oil is up, sell in the afternoon when it goes back down. There doesn't seem to be anything fundamental about why prices are where they are. Is this speculation, manipulation, irrationality, something else? Is the idea that too much has been shut-in or curtailed, or just investors thinking the demand side is looking better?
  19. This will hit close to home, I have prob two dozen friends that work there. Where did you hear about it?
  20. I don't know if this goes here or the #stonks thread ... But I bought some SCO calls yesterday, this price climb can't continue much further
  21. I got in on the TTI bandwagon ... Thanks for the tip. (wasn't able to make a G tho, so the meter is still running for the Lag)
  22. An interesting development here in the Permian coming from all of this. I haven't seen it discussed here, apologies if so. Apparently crude purchasers are having trouble finding enough barrels to meet their contractual demands. So many wells shut-in, curtailed and operators storing their own barrels on lease that this is apparently the case. My friends in purchasing are now actually having to pay premiums to what they sold their futures contracts for last month in order to make delivery, making the losses even worse for them.
  23. yep $8.75 just now on the WTI Nymex
  24. Info came second hand about an hour ago from a friend that runs a gathering/pipeline company here
