He's already fucking proven himself. Offer him the super max, if he accepts then you meet and smooth everything over. If he rejects it, trade him.
I would love to negotiate with some of you people in business.

And while Sussudio can get anyone's toes a tapping, I've always actually been partial to this Collins' song from the 80's.....
Bonus points for having The Dude in the video....

Ha, CT hates that song and for awhile (and maybe still) refused to play it.....

Before that, I really didn't understand any of their work. Too artsy, too intellectual. It was on Duke where Phil Collins' presence became more apparent. I think Invisible Touch was the group's undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic meditation on intangibility. At the same time, it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding three albums. Christy, take off your robe. Listen to the brilliant ensemble playing of Banks, Collins and Rutherford. You can practically hear every nuance of every instrument. Sabrina, remove your dress. In terms of lyrical craftsmanship, the sheer songwriting, this album hits a new peak of professionalism. Sabrina, why don't you, uh, dance a little. Take the lyrics to Land of Confusion. In this song, Phil Collins addresses the problems of abusive political authority. In Too Deep is the most moving pop song of the 1980s, about monogamy and commitment. The song is extremely uplifting. Their lyrics are as positive and affirmative as anything I've heard in rock. Christy, get down on your knees so Sabrina can see your asshole. Phil Collins' solo career seems to be more commercial and therefore more satisfying, in a narrower way. Especially songs like In the Air Tonight and Against All Odds. Sabrina, don't just stare at it, eat it. But I also think Phil Collins works best within the confines of the group, than as a solo artist, and I stress the word artist. This is Sussudio, a great, great song, a personal favorite.

If OKC makes the finals, I doubt KD leaves. As trying as having to play with Westbrook and living in Oklahoma are, if that team is good enough to beat the 73-9 Warriors I think KD would be willing to give the Thunder another shot, even if they didn't beat the Cavs.
I agree with this.... I think he would have signed a Lebron contract (2 year contract with PTO after 1) and run it back with Oladipo and Russell..... OKC vs Cleveland would have really been a great series, KD v Lebron, Kyrie v Westbrook, Adams v Tristan, etc, etc.

This is a great hypothetical hot take. For everyone interested in stuff like this, check out my fan fiction blog where Lebron never went to Miami and OKC never traded James Harden. You'll be shocked at how differently everything unfolded.

Bell was supposed to be the guy that they were grooming for this series. Quick enough feet to keep up with Harden, athletic enough to be a real lob threat on offense. But he got hurt, Looney played really solidly, and took Bell's spot in the rotation. Now it's impossible to shove a rookie into this kind of intensity after bench riding for months. Maybe he gets a few minutes at home, but he'll be on a crazy short leash.
Definitely but they have to steal minutes.... The big 4 were all going to play over 40 if it weren't a blowout.... Like literally 2-3 minutes a half to let Draymond rest a little. Quinn Cook needs to play better and bring it and play 10-12 minutes a game. They have 4 days until the next game so they should have fresh legs but game 4 or 5 could have them feel heavy.

One thing that I completely whiffed on all year was thinking that Golden State was going to have a strong bench. It blows. They can really only play 8 guys in this series right now, and two of them are Nick Young and Kevon Looney. Playing Iggy high minutes could come back to burn them. I did see that Kerr finally broke the glass on his emergency strategy of keeping either Steph or KD on the court at all times.
If Harden/CP3 can keep at least staying within spitting range of the production of KD/Steph, and Tucker/Ariza outscore Green/Iggy (not exactly a tall order), Gordon staying hotter than Klay gives Houston more than enough firepower to take this 7.
Definitely. I posted before the start of the season wondering where the production was going to come from the Warriors bench, especially if you start Iggy, who was terrible tonight. Steph's injury cost them Cassipi, who probably could have stole a few minutes every game. They may have to hope Jordan Bell can play a few minutes but they're really, really thin.... Looney looks like he's in concrete in this series.

Frankly, if KD doesn't go to the Warriors, I"m not sure they win another title. Very serious. They can get exposed in the playoffs and Cleveland and Houston have shown the blueprints by attacking Curry and wearing him down. I'm not saying they wouldn't have won another but it's looking less and less likely as we see guys like Livingston and Iggy become less effective with time and age and other team's understanding how to attack them. Also, as other guys on dynasty's explain, those deep runs into the playoffs wear on you. Now they would have Harrison Barnes and perhaps his value could have kept the Warriors afloat but damn they look really bad sometimes. Tonight, KD (who didn't play great defense) was the only dude that showed up....
Warriors gave up all their depth to get Durant
Did they? Because he makes about 2 million more than Harrison Barnes so they would have looked about the same..... What kind of depth can they get for 2 million?

I also had a problem with the narrative of Durant in OKC being that he could never win one there because they were so saddled with spare parts. They were plenty good enough. He just didn't win there. They won 45 games after he left without getting anything in return. It's not like Cleveland after Bron left.
A better approximation is Miami when Bron left. Comparing it to Cleveland is foolish. Miami won 54 after Lebron left.... Cleveland tore the whole thing down.

Respect to the Rockets..... They absolutely had to have this game and they got it. Great performance especially from PJ, Gordon and Ariza.....
Warriors got the split they probably wanted but they have to feel let down by tonight's performance.... Looked soft.
-
Warriors getting chippy with frustration as Draymond just pushes Ariza..... Time for the white flag for the Warriors. Draymond's just an idiot, he's dumb enough to do something to get suspended...

Ha.... this is sort of true, he has a lot of defenders. I do think he's at least physically limited if not a little banged up but again, the game plan of punishing him on defense by taking the ball right at him is wearing him down. It's a weakness of Golden State's, you can attack and wear down Curry. He needs to be protected defensively.

Not for sure over at all. Plenty of 15 point leads have been overcome with much less time. 2011 Game 2 Mavs over Heat comes to mind.
I agree but the Warriors look listless except for KD.....
-
This game is ovar..... Houston gets the win they absolutely had to have. Curry will need all 4 of those off days in the ice bath....

That boy can't stay without Chris Paul......

Something's wrong with Curry I think
Rust..... but he's looking a lot like 2016 playoff Curry. Some of it is his body, some of it is game plan and exploiting his defensive weakness.... He's a game defender, just not a great one and they have some offensive juggernauts taking him to school.
-
Refs letting a lot more clutching off the ball going on...... Rockets have benefitted by adapting better.
-
Paul is abusing Iggy or Draymond when he gets him in them in ISO.....
-
KD has 28.... nobody else has more than 9.
-
KD's not playing great team defense either..... He's getting caught in the air too much as are most of the Warriors. Obviously Houston worked on faking 3's and penetrating and kicking even by guys not named Harden and Paul.

I know it's classic Game 1 overreaction, but all the people who said that these teams are miles apart and that Golden State would wipe the floor with Houston all series were not watching the same game that I was.
I said that Houston played hard, but not particularly smart or well on Monday. And they got essentially nothing from Tucker, Ariza, and Moute. Well here's what happens when they play hard and well. A few turnovers, a few missed threes from GS, and it's a 19 point lead.
Golden State has 3 guys on the entire roster who can make a basket; when 2 are struggling, things can get ugly in a hurry.
If PJ Tucker is going to thoroughly outplay Draymond then Houston will win the majority of the time..... Curry is getting destroyed on defense.
-
Blowout city..... Warriors look dazed, trying to find their mouthpiece, reaching to find the ropes.... Their defense looks horrible. Draymond is turning it over every time he gets the ball, Curry is getting bullied all over the court, Houston is quicker to every loose ball....
