The teams asked the league for Denver as an alternate site. They said no, because of course they did.

Good run, Sooner.

Well that should take about 3 years and come to no conclusions.
They don't really want to find the real conclusion to this, if the recruiting game is as dirty as these indictments make it seem. The current most damning piece of evidence is on a Kansas assistant finding out what Zion Williamson was asking for...which would make an EASY public punishment, except he's currently at Duke. Add in Kentucky's recruiting success and Calipari's history and it's relatively hard to make an example out of anybody when the 3 schools doing most of the heavy lifting on attracting casual fan eyeballs would be the most likely tip of the spear.
There will be some "shoe companies are too involved, we're cleaning this up starting now" nonsense from the NCAA, and it's back to business as usual.

You dudes that talk to your wives on the phone so much...how long have you been married? I’m coming up on 15 years and can’t remember the last time I talked to her on the phone.

The reason y'all aren't a destination job is partly your own doing, if y'all would pay your football coach even 1/2 of what y'all are paying Bill Self, Kansas could be a destination job. Y'all treat football like most schools treat basketball.
We paid Gill and Weis pretty competitively, they were just bad hires. If somebody got to Mangino level success (not necessarily the Orange Bowl season but competitive and entertaining), everything works out. KU isn’t different than anywhere else, nobody goes to watch 2-10 teams play in shithole stadiums, and we’re running on 10 years of it.

That's parade time in Lawrence right there.
Meh, we’re so far from a legit 6 win team, we can’t even see it from here. It’s bad.

We pay $15/hour officially and round up generously
That's what we do and it gets us the pick of neighborhood teenage kids and same day service if we need it.
My kids aren't monsters, so I guess that helps.

Complicated password requirements for frivolous shit websites. Best Buy makes me choose a more complicated password than USAA, ETrade, or Fidelity. They're keeping a tighter lock on $5 reward than I keep on every dollar to my name.

Guess who else's first job (post paper route) was at Braums.
Add me to this list. El Dorado, KS location. It actually wasn’t that disgusting.

Yeah Oliver Miller was very weird. He referred to himself as "The Big O." He gave me the creeps.
Probably shouldn't be on any "greatness" list so fuck me.I’ve met Roger Clemens twice, and one of the times he referred to himself as The Rocket. Was probably drunk, but I don’t think he was doing it to be funny.

Only 10,000 seats for a basketball arena is retarded.
I don't think you should go smaller than about 12k. When good, you draw more than that routinely to FEC. And when mediocre, 8k looks fine in an arena that size instead of literally looking half full like it does today.
If I was a UT alum and basketball got kicked to the river so T&F/soccer could be on campus, I'd be irate. I don't think there is any way that happens, though.

Putting in a pool. Bar/cook area setting aside a cut-out for the egg. Close to pulling the trigger on a Primo XL. Fan of the oval shape and compartmentalized bowl.
I've only cooked on a Primo once...was very similar, build quality very high. I think the choice is personal preference without a wrong answer.

OK, I am pulling the trigger in the next two weeks on a BGE. Can someone convince me I don't need the XL and the L will be fine? I have heard and read it smokes better but how much betteer can it really smoke with basically same build...I know the fire is closer.
I just don't know about folding briskets etc...
Any thoughts from those who have used both would be great. FYI I also like to grill steaks on charcoal, etc...but do love to smoke chicken, ribs and brisket.
In 6-ish years of owning the BGE, I’ve wished for my L to be slightly larger exactly once. I do still have a gas grill that adds burner space when grilling for groups, though.

I would lead out against sticky call station types, and check-call against bluffy, aggro, or thinking players. So definite check-call against this guy.
For those who want to fold, are we ever checking with AJ or 88 here? If not, we are capping our range, and if we are folding one of the best hands in our range, we are just giving this guy free reign to buttfuck us.
What would you have done on a 5 turn? Lead like $160?
I probably would not have checked KK, I probably would have kept betting it...depends a lot on my read of the player. Once we check the turn and are no longer the aggressor and out of position, I hate everything about the hand. So, puke fold and find another spot, even though I hate it.
I'm actually fine checking AJ or 88 here and likely would unless I had a calling station to pay me off.

Puke fold.

Because 8 pts from your qb sucks?
Or why i spent my waiver on him..
85 pts the last 2 weeks in a throw happy offense is worth it. That or alex smith?
Spend the waiver claim, I mean. He's only owned in 1 of my 4 leagues, and that's a 12 teamer with way too deep of benches.

That's not good.
I don't think any of this is bad in a vacuum until you get to the "we missed on deyondre" text. That ties everything together. Now I'm starting to believe that KU could be the victim but HCBS is lined up to be guilty by association/a perp. This is going to torch our AD. Probably end up scraping the bottom of the barrel for a coach. Maybe shaka at the end of the year when you guys are done with him.
Have a drink and relax. Unless you thought KU was squeaky clean (no school recruiting top 100 kids is), the FBI’s power to subpoena against Adidas people was always going to dig up some dirt. We’re not close to banners coming down, and we’re not on the same planet as a Self succession plan, yet.
The optics are terrible though, especially for people that have been naively clinging to a pure image of student-athletes.
