Thanks...looked at it a couple years ago and felt the band was too small...was happy to see they enlarged it this year.

My wrist isn’t quite big enough for the Deep Sea, but I love the watch. So much that the 40mm Sea Dweller with that exact ceramic bezel and non-zoom date is my most days wearer.

  2. The best Whataburger on the planet is Lake Conroe. It’s constantly there to console you after Walden kicks your ass for 18 gloriously brutal holes.

Honorable mention to drunk runs to the Port A location. I’m sure that one sucks, but I don’t really have a memory of it.

That's a fair take. I guess I'm inclined to look at it as though Rodgers is not going to perform as the QB17 for the rest of the season. I know he's banged up a bit but I expect him to be a top 3 QB by the end of the year. And I would expect Miller to have around 1000 yds and 7/8 TDs by the end of the year, as well. If I own Breida or Lindsay I'm not sure what the hell I have in those guys. If I own Miller he's frustrating as hell as a RB2 but I know he's going to be pretty much an every down back unless Foreman is ready when he's eligible to come off of PUP.

But whatever, I'm not upset about it or anything. I was mildly surprised.  I ran it past a couple of other folks and a few of them said they would do the deal straight up for Rodgers.

Lamar Miller is a flex and you can basically stream QBs in a 10 team league.  Unless there is some roster detail I don't know, I auto-decline dealing a WR1 for that.

Hayleigh will kick Fessy to the curb rather quickly once she gets fully back in the real world and after (assumed) pending move to LA

She hasn't gotten to watch the show, yet.  When she does, and realizes just how much his dumbassedness destroyed the alliance that she was the (only) good player in...she gone be maaaaaaad.

Again...i think its a tail of 2 halves. Tyler came out of the gates blazing and he looked like an all time great.

He started cutting too many deals and overplaying by being in on so many evictions. You can run the house by not dictating who goes home every week. They all ran to him and asked what he would do.

I thought in terms of comps and BB play tyler was the best(sucks about the whole showmance with angela that kinda ruined him..she wasnt very well liked).

Oh well. They'll fuck their brains out tonight while he banks 75k. Thatll help with his move out to LA to live with her.

Usually UTphil is at the after party for these things. I love to read what he has to say after he sobers up

Even with all that, Fessie and Scottie really had no good reason to vote Kaycee over Tyler. So even with the mistakes he made and screwing up his handling of Sam, I still think it should have gone 6-3 for Tyler.

I don't get all the dick-licking for Kansas in the pre-season. Yeah they look pretty good on paper but it's all newcomers and freshmen. Their losses are significant--Graham and Mikaliuk were stalwarts for them the last 2 years and good leaders. Mikailiuk in particular has pretty much been the unsung hero of KU basketball the last 2 years. So their 2 best players are gone, and the services of Malik Newman will be missed as well.

They add a nice freshman backcourt in Grimes and Dotson, but they are FRESHMEN. The NCAA is not high school. Those 2 guys will be going up against guys who are 2-3 years older than them on a regular basis and that might be a problem for them. Vick has shown flashes of brilliance but has a reputation of being hard to coach.

Ask-a-bookie is a handful down low, that I will admit. All but the elitist teams will struggle to defend him. But his ball-handling and passing is not proven. The Lawson twins will probably help a lot, but we've yet to see the chemistry of all of this. It's too soon to declare this KU team as destined for the final four--just too many question marks right now.

You're not totally wrong here, but I think it's the very high talent level and depth plus Self getting the benefit of the doubt on making it all fit together that have people high on Kansas.

You can make an argument that this is the most talented team he's ever had. The best perimeter defender in the Big 12 will probably not start and Azibuike is probably the third best big on the roster.  The bodies that they're going to be able to hit people with is going to be incredible.

If we're looking back at a 9 loss team that gets bounced from the tournament in the round of 16 or something, I think the most likely explanation was that they didn't get enough perimeter shooting...but they should be between above average and elite at everything else.  Ceiling is high.

  7. It's a lot harder to manage the jury when you're the leader of the alliance and you/your showmance are winning every damn HoH.  I don't necessarily think Kaycee managed the jury better from a gameplay perspective so much as by good fortune.

Either one is a worthy winner, IMO.  They've both played very well.

Landry supposed to play tonight correct?

    and pick on

    Jimmy G vs KC

    or

    FitzMagic vs PIT

I'm high on Jimmy G, because of the Chiefs secondary...but Fitz.  It's possible he's a pretty good quarterback that's always been saddled by having shitty weapons.

JC is so much of a better player than josh. JC aligned himself with the dominant alliance, he continued to be on the right side of the vote while staying in the good graces of FOUTTE/The Hive, he definitely aggie ted what fessy did all season, including and especially getting fessy to vote out his own teammate when fessy's own showmance was trying to convince him to go after the other side of the house. that's one of the pivotal moves of the season. and then he goes and beats the two best players of the season in the most important hoh comp, all while having avoided the block until day 88 or so.

This is overstated some. For the vast majority of the game, what he wanted happened to be aligned with what Tyler wanted, so he was “pulling the strings of his big, dumb puppet” without actually doing anything. But some of the times, he got in line when he realized he had no chance (in fairness Tyler did a couple times too when the house had an opinion).

He made one move in the game by pulling on jealously strings of a complete idiot, which Scotty confirmed for the idiot...because the worst alliance in the history of B.B. had to make their mark (I guess). And LOTS of comps have nothing to do with strength or size, so the blank until yesterday is big in my view.

Even excluding the sexual assualting of Tyler, JC has been an awful player that’s gotten a great edit from production.

  11. Cafe Blue is decent enough, but it’s one of those semi-trendy, above averages places that are popping up all over. It should probably be in the Domain.

I was there for a friend’s birthday party, it’s cool for that. I wouldn’t do a date night there.

You're so pretty is my go to response when she says something patently stupid.

    Similar...mine is “it’s a good thing you’re pretty”.

I like the edgier implication of how hard life would be if I wasn’t around to do all the thinking.

Hands down the biggest story of the night. That is a MASSIVE fuck you to CBS and I can only assume this will be her last season hosting and I'm sure she will get bought out of whatever she has left on her contract for both BB and The Talk.

And a reminder that if you make a girl rich and famous enough, she doesn't even care if you hammer through some strange.

I should actually write that down.

It never did in my opinion. Are none of you even reading what's being posted upstream in other posts ?

You asked why they would search her apartment because "the murder didn't happen there".  Is that no implicit support of searching the victims apartment?  Is his bedroom any more germane to the investigation than her apartment?  If it was another black guy that wasn't a cop, do you thing the non crime scene apartment gets some attention?

To me, searching the residence of someone that killed another person seems like something worth the time of the police department...you know, just in case.

And that's relevant. I didn't think about that immediately, but is that really searching her apt or just getting a baseline for the defense that she mistook his for hers ?  Her laptop contents to the contents of her dresser drawers doesn't seem to have any bearing on the incident.

How does weed in his dresser drawer have any more bearing on a guy getting shot in his apartment?

  16. I just poked around quite a bit on the Apple website. With pickup at the Domain selected, as of 7am most phone size and color combos are still available for Friday if you have Verizon or AT&T, fewer options with the other carriers. I would say generally more phones available than I remember from previous years.

Interestingly, the Max seems to have a little more supply than the regular. I wonder if Apple stuffed the channel figuring it would be more popular or if they finally found the general public’s puke point on price. I can’t ever remember the regular being in tighter supply than the plus.

The Max screen ultimately reeled me in, so I reserved one for Friday.
