  1. Matt Ryan on the Manning Cast. Pretty high quality QB commentary.
  2. I mean they beat UAB by 26. They aren't good but they may be better than UTSA.
  3. As someone who has also used all 3 also this is crazy to me but to each their own. Maybe DTV streaming has improved since I tried it 2 years ago (for regional sports) and thought it was complete dogshit. I've had FUBO frequently outside of football season for regional sports and really don't like it at all but liked it better than DTV.
  4. Yeah, not following that at all. Can't fathom how anyone would prefer DTV over YTTV in the year of our lord 2024.
  5. I figured there was targeting discussion in this thread. If you would have shown me the 2 plays back to back, I would have guessed both would have been called, but if you told me only 1 was called, I would have guessed the first one against ASU. Would like to see a replay and an explanation as to why that was overturned because I clearly still have no idea what targeting is (and I'm guessing neither does anyone else - seems like it is still a total crapshoot).
  6. Everyone should go listen on the Sportsday app to the Klatt segment LOL. It was quintessential douchebag Corby and Aggy Bob attempting to downplay the Texas win (and overall Texas team) due to Michigan losing players and/or overall schedule (bitch ass Corby's favorite Texags talking point he's going to cling to all season) and Klatt called them out on it.
  7. Your algorithm may be telling you that and maybe the Clay Travis douchebag's of the world post her clips, but I seriously doubt a bunch of "MAGA" are attending and/or watching a lot of women's basketball LOL.
  8. This. It never crossed my mind that anything about CC was "MAGA". Agreed a massive stretch that she is losing any material chunk of her fanbase. Not to mention her interview after liking the tweet was the typical athlete PC response that doesn't want to get drug into the political nonsense (which I completely respect)
  9. That was so hilarious. You know damn well her strategy was to find some way to get that in early to piss him off and it worked masterfully.
  10. Put me in the category of enjoying that Hudson is living with the consequences of his actions. But given that he's hardly getting any PT, I'm genuinely curious if he was significantly overrated or McGuire is bringing back Mack Brown's "can't trust freshman" or "make them earn it" policy to the year 2024. You have FR WR's making plays all over the country through 2 games. I refuse to believe Tech is THAT talented at WR.
  11. Yep, UTSA doesn't appear to really appear to have much at all this year. ULM whipped up on UAB last week and gets a bye week so Sark will have that to get some focus next week but UTSA should absolutely be a depth building game
  12. Really the entire station. Or at least this time of year. I still check in for college football talk almost to hate listen (other than the Klatt segment) as to just how god awful the 'analysis' is. Simple George's preseason take on the horns was fitting of his name and Bob and Corby's lazy takes are just as they have always been. But with so much cowboys talk + Rangers sucking, no Mavs and no Stars, I've pivoted to probably 80% Sirius XM84 for both drive time and dog walk time.
  13. As noted by Hornian I think the Texas allotment are all spread across that corner through endzone on high rows. But sounds like people are sitting all over the stadium. I'm guessing just about anywhere outside of UM student sections you will find Texas fans somewhat close by. I'm sitting with some friends in 16 and others i know going are probably in 4 or 5 different sections.
  14. Fair. I always think of that '22 Bama D as tougher but maybe that's because we played so well against the '23 version and that isn't giving enough credit to our guys. I think clearly Michigan isn't as talented or deep as last year, but I know I saw preseason previews that projected both Graham and Johnson as top 5 picks with the other DE as a likely first rounder as well. That's a pretty good start to a really solid defense. We'll see Saturday but I'm going to be pretty surprised if we just go up and down the field like some are expecting.
  15. Exactly what elite defenses has Ewers played dude. This really isn't the stretch you are making it out to be. The only other option is probably 2022 Bama. Could throw 2022 TCU in there (at least the way they played that game, which I've just tried to forget).
  16. I thought what they said was fair as they elaborated. Ewers has been historically pretty damn inconsistent on his deep balls. TBD this year whether that consistency has improved. And I think it's also fair to say that that it is unknown to what extent there is a drop off at receiver (and TE) after losing 4 players that made an NFL roster. I know we all feel pretty great about our WR room, and it definitely appears to be deeper than it has been under Sark, but we lost a bunch of proven (at Texas) talent. It's not high on my list of concerns at all but it's a fair talking point. If we can throw for 250+ against this D then any of those questions will be put to bed on Saturday.
  17. I would be very pleasantly shocked if we put up 40 against the Michigan D absent +3 in TO battle and/or defense/special team TD's.
  18. Same. I was as encouraged as anyone at the way MIchigan looked offensively Saturday (particularly through 3 quarters) but it also could be a classic case of game 1 overreaction. Remember how shitty we played through 2.5 quarters against Rice last year? Then we played an A+ game the next week. I absolutely like our advantages on paper and feel like -6.5 is a fair line but it's college football. The different matchups, styles of play and uncertainty week to week as to how youth on any given team is going to perform is what makes it such a far superior product to watch than the NFL IMO.
  19. I'm pretty close to this as well. I think if we can get out to a fast start Michigan is in trouble. But if they can run the ball on us effectively (and/or do enough in the passing game to respect the pass), they could drag us into an ugly Big 10 contest where I wouldn't love our chances. It should absolutely be a great test for our offense period. Really interested to see how we fare against an elite D.
  20. I was perfectly content missing this one as late as 10 days ago with a busy fall schedule already and lots of good home games, but started getting the itch last week and after buddy reminded me they still had an extra room at their air bnb (while on my 3rd or 4th marg), pulled the trigger on a flight last night and procured a tailgate ticket this AM. Can't wait.
  21. I watched this segment and thought immediately it would become a talking point if Weigman played poorly LOL.
  22. I'll be pretty surprised if, similar to GA-Tech/FSU, Michigan's gameplan isn't going to be to use all of the play clock, try to grind out drives, limit our offensive possessions, and make it a 4th quarter game where anything can happen. A fast start for us is going to be key.
  23. SMH. Clearly we are all just a bunch of old men yelling at clouds, but I'll never understand why we don't just have someone to simply announce down and distance and whatever other factual information is warranted at the time without gimmicks or over the top emotion. It's really not that difficult.
  24. It was maddening. His over the top corny Texas accent bullshit would irrationally piss me off during the game. Especially when we weren't playing well. I have no doubt we'll bitch about the next guy but there is simply no way it can be worse. Every time I filled out one of the post-game surveys I complained about Bob Cole. I know I wasn't the only one. I'm glad our hard work paid off. He can yap all he wants during halftime band performance - I'll be in line to buy beer in any event.
  25. Others may weigh in but only real value I see is OU ticket selection. You can get priority for away games/bowl games as well which might hold some value if you want to sit with other longhorns, but the reality is that unless you donate a ton, you are going to get shitty tickets for away/bowl and more often than not "face" for those seats are above market value.
