Yea id love someone to show some film breakdown like we used to get on here from a wide angle so we can see wtf is happening. Do we run complex wr routes? Are we slow af or something? I think we know the o-line blows so what’s the deal? I would lean to the captain obvious answer of it’s all of the above?

what poster used to make those video breakdowns each week that really helped some(like me) not bitch as much after seeing slow motion film of our offense and defense.

    Love his videos.

Fun racing between Charles and Lando

I want Lando to get a track limits penalty so bad.

He isn't a bad driver but he absolutely isn't close to the same tier as Max, Charles and Hamilton, etc

Quick read this week. Nothing award winning, and not as good as some of his earlier ones, but a typical fun Langdon book.

That series has a wild as hell release timeline

    Gaps of 3, 6, 4, 3 and 8 years between books?

8 years between books and you are reaching GRRM territory, which ain't good.

Liked that book fine, it is what it is, but it was way too long. Publisher needed to get him an actual editor (or a new one)

He literally just tanked a shot at the playoffs for a slightly higher chance of not losing to Texas in Dallas. There is zero chance I would be playing Matter until he is actually ready to go. They could have endured another loss and still been ok if it meant getting right and winning out.

Headed out for a fishing trip and decided to stop for lunch at Eaker Barbecue in Fredericksburg.

I plan to sustain myself with barbecue through the weekend, so I got a some brisket and Hatch chile queso sausage to go.

Eaker has two types of pork ribs - traditional dry-rubbed and Korean style Gochujang Pork Ribs.  I opted for the latter, a slice of moist brisket, and a side of kimchi.

The waygu brisket was a little dry and under seasoned.  The kimchi was kimchi.  The ribs were delicious.  The flavor was amazing and the cook was perfect with a good bite.

Not sure if I'm be back - mainly due to avoiding Fredericksburg at all costs.  Although the brisket was merely welming, I'm glad I tried the Korean ribs.

its a super unique spot in the Texas BBQ world. Lance and Boo are incredible folks.

This is a really hyperbolic, uninformed statement. All the crew wear fire retardant suits with extinguishers nearby and tons of other racing series, like WEC and IndyCar, have refueling without anyone dying or getting severely burned. There's no reason to think someone would die from it.

That's totally reasonable and it's absolutely way safer than it used to be.

I just don't get the upside to bringing it back, at all.

    Only see downsides.

    What's the upside? Strategy?

If there's a 0.01% chance of it happening, why risk it?

Toyota is already Haas's technical partner. I've been thinking for a while that Toyota will take a larger role in the team moving forward. That makes Horner's move there make some sense imho, if he is indeed headed there.

We know one thing for sure, Gene isn't going to spend a penny if he doesn't have to. Bet we see Horner take an ownership stake like Toto.

    Honestly, I'm fine with it.

They need to sell naming rights though, I fucking hate Haas.

Never happen, but if we wanted variability back:

Drop all electrification and the weight and cost that comes with it.

Reduce car size but at least 20%

    Bring back refueling

Someone will burn to death live on camera if they bring back refueling. Will never, ever happen.

Nobody argues that (well maybe a few here). I think people giving up on Arch are the minority. The counter point is that the majority of QBs that struggle in year 1 that end up as insurance salesmen. This is what makes CFB fun and infuriating at the same time.

Yeah. That's basically all CFB players at all positions in year 1. They almost all struggle.

It's especially true at QB. How many true freshmen heisman winners are there? 0

    RSFR? 2.

    Come on.
