  1. PA Redfield & Wilton Strategies Harris 47% Trump 47% Oliver 1% Stein 0% “In every state polled, more 2020 Biden voters say they will now vote for Trump than 2020 Trump voters say they will vote for Harris. Between 9% and 13% of Biden 2020 voters in the nine states polled now say they will vote for Trump, while between 4% and 10% of Trump 2020 voters now say they will vote for Kamala Harris. Furthermore, a higher percentage of Trump 2020 voters say they will vote for Donald Trump in November than Biden 2020 voters say they will vote for Harris in every state polled. Between 85% and 91% of 2020 Trump voters now say they will vote for Trump again in November, compared to between 79% and 88% of 2020 Biden voters who say they will vote for Harris. The economy remains the single most important issue for pluralities of voters in every swing state polled. Abortion and immigration are the second and third most commonly cited issues in each state.”
  2. When I was in college I worked at a fedex print center for a few months. There was a lady that had worked there forever. Middle aged, less than 5’ tall, obese, chain smoker. She told me that she had recently had her 4th heart attack and her doctor told her she needed to quit smoking, but her mother smoked her whole life and was fine, and that was evidence enough for her that the doctor was wrong about her needing to quit. We had a scale for adding up the change in the registers. You just put your coins on it and it told you the value. It died and was replaced with a centrifugal change counter/sorter. The first night that I was closing up after we got the new counter I suddenly hear banging and screaming in the back. I run back and this lady is screaming that something is wrong with the change counter. I look at it and she had not only put her loose change in it, but also all of the rolled coins as well, which had obviously banged around in the machine, some flung out, some split open. I said Mary you’re just supposed to put the loose change in there, not the rolls. And her immediate reaction was that I was wrong because Sue told her to put in all of her change. That was the first time I remember being dumbstruck by just how fucking stupid people can be, just completely unable to comprehend basic life and unable to accept someone challenging something they believe. That woman is probably closer to the average intelligence of our electorate than most assume. A massive segment of the voters in this country have absolutely zero capacity to make informed decisions about politics.
  3. For the overwhelming majority of morons it boils down to nothing more than inflation. Inflation was bad during Biden, not during Trump. Clearly that’s all due to things Biden and Trump did. You guys give WAY WAY too much credit to the general population of this country. There are tens of millions of people in this country that are really fucking stupid. Go over to the Springfield thread and watch the interviews with the locals and then imagine every single small town in the country being filled with millions of people like that. Those are the people that decided Trump was the best the gop could offer. We are living in idiocracy.
  4. 2022 had a little more than 1.4 million mail in ballots and roughly 70% of those were D. I don’t think this tells us much other than dotard ruined mail in ballots for the gop. The gop were the ones that pushed for mail in ballot expansion in PA in 2019 to make it easier for rural olds to vote.
  5. lol. How far do you hit it?
  6. The Harris Walz yard signs have started multiplying in northern Allegheny county in the last week and I am fully chuffed over what I saw today. I don’t care if I’m being overly optimistic or not. PA is telling this mother fucker to fuck the whole way off.
  7. PA could have been called on election night in 2020. The state was publishing their mail in ballot requests and return rates by party affiliation in the weeks leading up to the election. I remember telling my team at work the Friday before the election that if Trump was up by less than X votes he’s going to lose and it would take 2 days to verify. I understand not wanting to call it until it was confirmed, but even Shapiro was on tv as AG the next day saying that it was inevitable that Biden would pass Trump and it was just a matter of adding them up.
  8. It doesn’t. There is no world where she’s up in PA and tied nationally.

  12. I need to go to a tm demo day or club champion and get a long game fitting. My 3w is a tm burner that I bought in 2009 that I still absolutely love. By far the oldest club in my bag, but I’m so damn consistent with it. I’d love to find a 3w that I could get 20 more yards out of without giving up much consistency. My driver is an M4 with a ust recoil shaft in it, but I don’t think the shaft fits my swing anymore. Last couple years I’ve gained some distance but am wildly inconsistent with it. With how well I hit my 3w, I only pull driver 4-5 times a round, if that.
  13. Mine are 718 AP1s 5-48 (lofts match the t200s without the half degrees), vokey 52-56-60. Driver, 3w, 3h. I’ve been entertaining the idea of 60, 54, 48 so that I can fill the hole between 3h & 5i but for now I’m pretty content with where I’m at. Next club purchases will be driver & 3w.

  15. Meanwhile they’d never consider hiring someone with a felony conviction on their record, regardless of the circumstances, let alone dozens of them.
  16. It’s infuriating that none of the rubes even question his nonsense about cutting energy bills in half in 12 months. They’re too dumb to even wonder how it could be possible to cut energy prices to 1980s rates. And it’s that way with every absurd claim he ever makes. It’s not even questioned.
  17. Guy I golf with most tries to give me shit about that. I run PW (43), 48, 52, 56, 60. I give him shit back by throwing darts at flags.
  18. For me the ads I see on TV are probably in the neighborhood of 2-1 Trump-Harris but the live tv I’m watching is almost exclusively football so I’m sure that skews it. On YouTube, the ads I get are probably close to 10-1 Trump-Harris and the physical mail ads I get are 3 to 4 per week from Trump and zero ever from Harris. But from where I’m sitting I appear to be the only demographic that Trump is even trying to court. 18-45, middle class, white male, suburban PA. They seem to know that they can’t gain voters anywhere else and every decision they make seems to be geared towards trying to gain voters there. They know that if they don’t dominate that demographic in PA they have absolutely no chance. The messaging I get is overwhelmingly that immigrants are destroying absolutely everything. There are violent criminals streaming across the border feeding fentanyl to everyone. They are raising health care costs, taking jobs, and committing crimes, it’s all Kamala’s fault and she’s soft on crime. A distant second message is that Kamala and Biden are exclusively responsible for inflation and Kamala will make it worse. 3rd is that she’ll ban fracking. 4th is that Trump has absolutely no connection to project 2025. I get that shit all day, every day. Almost every commercial break watching a game. Senate ads are probably 2-1 McCormick to Casey but that seems to be shifting more even recently. The gop nominee in my congressional race is a guy I went to high school with and he couldn’t be hiding more from being associated with Trump.
  19. The new Trump ad in PA during Monday night football is an entirely context free clip of Kamala in a 2019 dem primary town hall saying that she’d ban fracking. Then saying that 120,000 fracking jobs in PA will vanish if she’s elected.
