  1. I felt the same way until my daughter was basically kidnapped by my ex from her middle school last Spring.

Had a group of really good dudes from APD and one from AISD helping me to find her.

Now the resource officer at her school who "didn't wanna get involved"?  Yeah, he represented the shit-heal LEOs nicely.

I’ll bet that resource officer was pounding your ex. (Or at least trying to.)

  2. Say what you will about American, but if you live in DFW AA really makes life simpler. My travels during the plague have been convoluted and somewhat painful. Had to jump thru a few hoops to get to Paris the other day. But ended up on Air France out of Atlanta. And other than a good piece of beef there was really nothing about the flight that was better than American.

Looks like AA is going to restart their DFW-CDG flight tomorrow. That will really make travel to (and from) Europe easier. Got my flight on 49 booked for next week.

BTW-For those interested, airports (and planes) have been slowly increasing in traffic the last month or so. (At least to these anecdotal eyes.) And I did get several messages (i.e. warnings) about a nearly full AA flight last week.

  3. Island people, man.  Filipinos, Hawaii, Samoa -- if you knew any of those dudes, you at Spam at their house.  I was down.  Especially with the Filipinos, because we got lumpia too.

Spam-No way in hell. But one of the reasons I remember the PI so fondly was that I could get Lumpia, fried rice and a San Miguel for one dollar! The bonus prize was an LBFM sitting on my lap while I ate. I’d throw my girl 2 dollars and they thought I was King. Those were the glory days my friend!

  4. I’ve always assumed that it was Kurt Busch investing in the vet clinic. He’s a Vegas native.

Meanwhile, Brent’s skank wife is now doing cameos for 60 bucks a pop. That’s less money than high pitch gets

Total skank and High Pitch should be getting a bunch more than that ho.
  5. I’m right on board with those who think this is better than BB. Heck, I’m thinking BCS is one of the finest series ever made.
But you freaks talking all this Rhea Seehorn trash just need to stop. She ain’t that great.
Bob Odenkirk is what it’s all about (with a shout out to Jonathan Banks and all the Mexicans.)

  6. That was badass.  I parked my truck just in time to get out and see them right overhead.
When I got hired at my current job we had a former Thunderbird guy in my class.  He's exactly the guy you'd think he'd be.  Smart, humble, funny, jacked, gets drunk as fuck at the bar every night and the next day in class he's verbally dissecting aircraft systems like he built thing, then planning the next happy hour when the rest of us are just trying our hardest to keep up.
My 15 year old, who has grown up around airplanes, first words after they went over today were, "I wanna do that."  Spoiler alert... he's colorblind, it ain't gonna happen.

Yep, Had a buddy that was color blind that somehow slipped thru a bunch of Navy flight physicals. Finally caught up to him in an ugly crash. Of course the causal factor was his “color blindness”. Time to steer your boy to another profession.
  7. That's two girls from the kpop group Blackpink, and they're not in the movie.

After further review it appears you are correct. Definite Google trickfuck if there ever was one. Regardless the two movie stars look a bunch like those 2 in the fake pic. Of course Korean hotties do have pretty much the same look, (no racist.)
  8. I'm not one for ooh-ing or aw-ing about most things but the ability and balls to fly in close formation is bad ass.  And I think of these flyovers as much more impressive than they tricks at air shows. The air show performances are awesome but I assume very well choreographed with timing.  These fly-overs are unique flight paths over extended  periods of time.

I disagree. While air show stuff is well planned, it involves much more complex and dangerous maneuvers. These flyovers are pretty much basic formation (albeit a bit tighter than normal) that most junior hornet or viper pilots could perform. Very cool, but pretty easy stuff for these pilots.
  9. Back in the old days I always knew what countries dubbed their American TV shows and what countries did not. The more English the locals spoke, the less they dubbed (and vice versa.)

Nowadays it doesn’t seem to equate as much. I think other countries have more of their own content (watch less American TV) or dubbing is more prevalent.
