  1. I'm kind of a sicko but I watched a lot of Pistons games this year. They're local and I have a lot of TVs plus Cade is getting better and is fun to watch. Anyway, my .02 is the current version of the Pistons where Cade and Duren have a fake injury every night, Beef Stew is ofs, Ausar is ofs and it's pretty much Jaden Ivey and 4 guys on 10 days....would still win, by a lot. Probably not covering 45. Detroit's best 8 would beat the brakes off of UConn.

agreed. it’s absolutely out of control. next year we will definitely move the playoffs up by two weeks. the finals features malachi flynn and sam hauser vs trey lyles and kevon looney. that’s craptastic.

Not so fast my friend, I just picked up Peyton Pritchard to start in place of Loon.

yeah that injury buzz saw aint no joke. gobert, jokic, nurkic, cade, and jimmy have all missed time/are out for me this week. i wonder if this new goofy ass nba scheduling has anything to do with it

I think we talked last season about moving the playoffs up two weeks. This is just dumb.

  4. I don't know what your plans are, or for how many days, but I have taken to renting cars from Turo on trips. You can usually get a nice, late model roomy SUV for about 50/day including taxes and fees. Then you have the freedom to check out I Drive during your golfing downtime as a bonus.

  5. Thank you again md, those links are great and I have already started down the rabbit hole.

Did you (or anyone else) ever go to Universal Hollywood? I was thinking about that for a day, mostly because my kids would like to see Springfield. I don't think we'll be going back to Florida anytime soon. Some good material about Universal at those links, as well, just wondering if anyone has any personal experience.

  6. bump. I decided to book 5ish days and 4 nights in LA in late July. I think we will only do 1 park day at Disneyland and do other stuff for the rest of the time. Staying in Anaheim in a condo that apparently is walkable, or walkable to a shuttle. @mdmost is one day enough? I think our primary interest would be seeing the other version of the attractions that we like at the MK and certainly any can't misses that don't exist in wdw. Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated.

  7. With all the NBA stuff I follow I'm surprised I haven't seen this. Silver on with King and Barkley says it's probably time to go the Pro Bowl route in regards to the ASG. Full clip because I can't stand click bait that crops out context.

  8. I noticed Jr was starting Killian Hayes the other day and told him he needed to pick someone else up. I should just take his phone and set his lineup for him after he goes to bed.

  9. I'm wondering if anyone might have any ideas for me. I'm trying to plan a relatively inexpensive trip this summer for family of 4 (kids 11 and 14). I have some decent points stored up and still accruing. I would like to hold on to some for a larger Griswold European vacation next summer, but I'm also cash strapped at the moment so looking for something affordable. Anyone have any good advice in terms of resorts, or destinations that give you good return on point transfers and aren't crazy $$? I believe it was spanky who steered me in the right direction last year to transfer Chase points to SW for cheap airfare from the WC to Maui. That worked well. Flew us to PHX on Delta, free place to stay overnight and then PHX to OGG for 35k points/person. Any resorts or destinations in MX, the Caribbean, Central America or other ideas I would be interested in. I would love to just book a VRBO somewhere but I'd basically be paying myself back in points with no favorable exchange. I have about 250k Skymiles, 150k Chase points, 90k Cap One, 90k Citi and 60k Bonvoy. What is my best jumping off point for research?
