  1. I appreciate Nahlin's dig at mbhornsfan. Dude sucks Anyways here's the Ketch quote from this afternoon for reference "I don't think Sark has even called him at this point." No larger report. OB Has one ongoing thread (only 93 pages, amateurs) and without the staff tag you'd never be able to pick out ketch as someone that knows things, theoretically at least
  2. I think we're well-suited for either front next year, if Bimage develops well to replace Ossai. A Collins/Coburn/Sweat front is terrifying though
  3. Do you wish we played Eagles in the slot and Overshown at cornerback too?
  4. ...wait you want Alfred Collins on the edge?
  5. I'm so ready for recruiting to be fun again I wasn't strong enough to stay active during the dark days But let's do this boys #AllGasNoBreaks
  6. CDC put out a vague statement to help recruiting while knowing that Tom would likely be fired The statesman asked him if that meant Tom would be back in 2021 and CDC said yes A couple weeks later CDC fires Herman and the AAS guys get all upset because he lied to them They need to grow up. I mean what was CDC supposed to do? Put out that statement then go tell reporters it was a lie and he was canning Tom? This is how athletics are handled are handled at pretty much every level except peewee
  7. 6) Use ignore liberally
  8. I know this convo belongs elsewhere so I'm spoilering my response. Short of it is our OL next year will be better than the last 2 years but let's pump the breaks on saying more than that. Excited for our future though
  9. I want to push back on the optimism for our OL next year a bit Were the KSU and Colorado games encouraging? Yes. But let's not get carried away. We've had high NFL drafts picks starting at LT for the better part of the last six years. I really like what I saw from Karic, and I still believe in Jones's potential, but we will assuredly have a step back at the most important position on the line next year. That's something we'd be foolish to overlook. I also like what I've seen from Majors at Center, but he won't be a high level starter until he adds more core strength. He gets ends up 2 yards in the backfield on a regular basis. This is a problem that has plagued him since high school and I'm not sure that one more offseason will be enough to get him to where he needs to be. I'm confident he'll develop physically at some point and be a great player, but this is the problem when you're relying on first and second year players on the OL. Remember all the talks we've had about how great it will be to put guys on the shelf and not start them until they are upperclassmen? Let's not renege on that. I actually do like our options at guard and RT with Kerstetter returning. None of the guys are great but overall I have a high floor, medium ceiling for those spots next year. This is the same trap that we fell into setting our expectations for the defense in 2019 and the WRs this year--seeing young talent that has flashed and projecting that it will develop at multiple positions. Some will, some won't. Kerstetter is the only one I trust to play well against a good DL and he's coming back from a major injury. We shouldn't expect consistent plus play at more than 3 positions on the OL next year. I'm pretty hyped for Flood though. He just needs time
  10. Tbh I'd rather have Hutzler than the tiny chance at Raymond
  11. Given how Drayton gets crucified for his 2019 recruiting (this comment is not about that), it's a bit ironic that Roschon might have a better career than any of our RB targets that year
  12. If Ash is retained why would he get rid of the guy he just picked to be his LB coach? Feels like Stoops is a Sark thing since they're both at Bama right now, not a Ash/Muschamp thing. Would be a big red flag for me.
  13. I haven't been around much for awhile but the recruiting board is where I post the most, so I guess this is where I'll say it's time for a profile pic
  14. OSU wouldn't try to get him back. He "retired" for a reason there. It would be a huge issue for them. Plus Day is a good coach.
  15. The urban thread might catch up to this one in length and satya still gets shit for being pessimistic lol
  16. Starting to feel a bit bad about all the copy/pasting and most of it is not really new but here's one thing that I found interesting given that Urban has requested control over an associate AD. Stamper has probably been mentioned somewhere in these 290 pages but it's a new name to me. I also didn't realize that Corey Dennis was a Ryan Day promotion. That makes me feel better about bringing him along since it wouldn't just be straight nepotism. I'll also give OB a mini plug. Ketch deserves to get a lot of shit but the good part of OB is the work Alex Dunlap and Dustin McComas do
  17. People starting to get real ornery in here Chill y'all. Flightaware don't make a shit
  18. Another similarity to tack on--his teams start slow early in the season. I think a big part of the reason we're so mad at Herman is that three of our seasons were dead by October. CFB is a lot more fun when your title hopes are still alive late in the year. We've only had one opportunity to really enjoy the hype of a winning team: the two weeks after OU in 2018 which were immediately destroyed with the 21-0 first quarter debacle in Stillwater. Fuckin Tom
  19. I totally get the comparisons between Herman and Campbell, but at this point Herman loses to good, bad, and average team. At least Campbell beats the middling teams (like us fml). Campbell is a better coach than Herman but I would be disappointed with his hire.
  20. ketch coming in hot with some new info
  21. Tweet isn’t showing up for me but I’m out for a bit so if it’s OB I’ll check when I get back
  22. It's over. They just talked about the playoff picture and Ohio State. He is part of their AD after all.
  23. Urban just joined Klatt's livestream of his show thing. They're talking about Ohio State and the game minimum requirement rn He's wearing an tOSU polo doomed
