We actually had a lead in the Sugar Bowl? I just remember us getting our ass beaten. And Ron McKelvey talk.
We actually had the lead most of that game; didn’t trail until the 2:32 mark of the 3rd quarter....

The club even sucks at tanking. At least until minor and pence are dealt. Then the losses should start piling up.
And, assuming we’re willing to kick in about $18-$20 MM over the next 1.5 years, Choo...

I’d have to put James Street above Colt on that list. Different era, different styles of play, different athletes back then but the record and results don’t lie....

That 2001 Miami team was obviously good but they weren't any better than any of the other teams in this era who won it all.
That team had the 2nd-longest winning streak in DI since WWI...

The Texans are cognizant of appeasing the aggy in their fan base. Easy to draft him in the 7th rather than sign him after.
So now that you have NFL aggy out of the way, what's your explanation for how none of the other 31 teams in the NFL drafted LJH?

Passed on Boyd for a CB from Central Michigan...definitely a position of need, know nothing about the guy....

Texans draft fast, pass catching TE in 3rd round on Friday....
later that night....
Texans TE Ryan Griffin arrested for public intoxication and breaking a window in Nashville. He took the draft news about as well as Iconoclast.
Well there’s another $2.7MM in salary space to throw at Clooney/Reader’s extension signing bonus...

I’ll PayPal you the price of 4 peach schnapps shots and a 100% tip for the bartender and $100 for you to defray your current tab if you send them to him, get the bartender to say “This is from SurlyHorns.com” and post the video.

Send him a shot of Peach Schnapps. To a real drunk that’s a far bigger insult than anything you could say to him....

I'm pretty sure it's locked in with Jerryworld for the forseeable future. The bball tournament is fixed in KC, Mo. forever too, unfortunately.
The B12 tourney should be in KC as long as this conference is alive. Great atmosphere, great location - way, way, way better than when it was in Dallas
EDIT - By location I mean the area immediately around the arena, not KC itself. You can walk out of a bar in the P&L District with a mixed drink in a fucking glass for Chrissake....

Vernon Maxwell was the only player who could get MJ's goat during a game. The Rockets were 5-1 vs the Bulls during their 1990-1993 three peat when mad max was on the team. Obviously the Bulls not having any answer for Olajuwon was also a massive reason.
Gerald Wilkins could get under MJ’s skin as well...
Vernon got cut from the Rockets the day after the Game 1 loss to Utah in 1995 after bitching to the media about playing time (even though he was selected to take the game tying/winning shot). Then we went out hit set an NBA record for 3s in Game 2....

The new law only applies to the required donation level to keep your tickets. It doesn’t apply to any donation made above that which also gets you loyalty points (actually at a higher rate). We’ve had the same tickets since 1970 so the required donation is really low, almost all of the donation is voluntary so the new law doesn’t effect us much.It also had an impact on people who were relying on their company’s match of ‘charitable contributions’ to effectively cut 40% (since only 80% was tax deductible prior to the new law) off the cost of their re-up.

Dinosaur here, but it sounds like 75% of ‘cord cutting’ still relies on somebody somewhere to have a cable/satellite subscription, at least for live sports.
Are there really that many people out there sponging off of their parents for their Spectrum login?
