This is just fucking ridiculous. So you're telling me if a player is standing with the ball in front of them, not touching it, and another kicks them it's a foul on the player standing in front of the ball? It doesn't matter if Tielemans initially had possession. Werner got position on him and Tielemans kicked Werner in the back of the leg. Werner wasn't swinging back towards Tielemans. He got between him and the ball and got kicked. In no world is that Werner kicking Tielemans. In no world is that a foul on Werner. That's a foul on Tielemans. The halftime guys are right that it's called because it's the correct call. Mike Dean fucked up. VAR fucked up. It should have been a penalty. If you think that's not a football play you must not know much about football, because positioning--putting yourself between the ball and the opposing player--is one of the most basic aspects of the game. That's exactly what Werner did.
Werner gets position between him and the ball then gets kicked. I'm not sure how you think that's Werner kicking him. That's a pk. Sent from my SM-G950U1 using Tapatalk
I understand TT wanting James in the back three to cover Vardy, but I don't like Azpi as our wingback. I'd rather see CHO there if we want James playing RCB.
Out of the house for awhile and without my bourbon so I picked up a bottle of EW SiB on, I think, the recommendation of this thread. This is really good for a 25 dollar bottle. Sent from my SM-G950U1 using Tapatalk
We have a lot of talent and potential, but have been incredibly inconsistent this season. There are a whole bunch of factors that contribute to that, but Lampard's weaknesses and inexperience as a coach, our young roster (especially the front 4), and the weirdness of the COVID season, including Havertz having a pretty bad case, are the main reasons. I expect us to be incredibly dangerous next season and vying with City for the PL title.
They're just so fucking entitled. I was originally hoping PSG would make it through so that Chelsea could play someone different if they beat Real. But now I'm happy they're getting their asses kicked.
Mbappe played the first leg in Paris and City still won that round. After the first half and once City really started pressing, PSG have been largely unthreatening. They are playing uninspired football like they expected City to just sit back and let them play.
First Chelsea end the Super League. Next needs to be knocking Real out of Champion's League. Perez has been awful throughout this whole thing. I wish nothing but misery on him and Real. I hope Barca or Aleti also win La Liga.
