Fine then. LBJ Library and Harry Ransom Center = two libraries better than that in Knoxville.

Thanks. Great movie.
Per my second statement, I"m pretty sure there was a show related to this type of contest that came on shortly thereafter the movie. Seems as if one episode involved farmers and a tractor. IIRC, the show got cancelled because, in some cases, those in the competition just came across as really sad. I.E. If I don't win this tractor, we'll lose the farm.

Is this the movie where the really religious girl loses her spot because she has a momentary lapse and takes her hands off the car to pray?
Maybe I'm crossing references but wasn't there also a tv show or series that tried to emulate this type of competition shortly thereafter? I could have sworn that one of the episodes had farmers competing to win a tractor.

On the way to Austin for the Spring Game, my wife went for futile attempt #456 in trying to compare her alma mater (UTenn) to mine. She goes,
”Well Texas May be better at a lot of things but I’m pretty sure we’ve got a better library.”
Me, “You’ve got a Presidential library with an original Gutenberg Bible?”
tone.

Are you the homeless guy with the dog that used to panhandle outside my apartment building?
Never panhandled but, in retrospect, maybe I should have. I once had $10 to eat on for a week. Purchased a pack of 64 tamales from Fiesta. Day 1 was awesome; Day 5 I just wanted to die.

Damn. This place is good. Never ate here when in college. Granted, I may have been the poorest student in the history of UT but that’s neither here nor there. More drunken posts to follow.

Yep. Koda Martin. They lineman dumbass Dave Campbell's Texas Football picked as the best o-lineman in the state last year over Connor Williams.

I'd never heard of this guy or his show. Friend of mine and I are driving back from Dallas to Knoxville in the middle of the night circa 1997. I come across this show. People are calling in live with updates about an alien invasion. One guy's calling in from Mockingbird and Skillman (Dallas intersection) and describing this ship hovering over the city. I freak the F out and punch my friend awake. I guess I fell for a modern-day "War of the Worlds" but hell, that drive sure did fly by.

So what are the possibilities or likely outcomes for Sat’s game as it pertains to weather? I’m coming down with 11 others - mostly kids. I know a cancellation is possible. Would they move the game to earlier in the day or even to Sunday?

Oh F that. Other than Lib and the taller black girl, I really don't like any of the other women.

Agree with Burnt. It’s rare to find a doc that allows the viewer to “pick sides”. There were times when I felt sympathetic to almost every entity in the show.

Oh I’m all on board the F Arena train as well. I mean, they both somehow thought Graham Zusi belonged on the team. Those above have pointed out some of JK’s shortcomings but I’d also like to add that the locker room was also a complete mess.

Yeah well I was getting laid quite a bit before marriage and I didn’t have to act like a dumbass Aggy to get some. I mean, I get the atmosphere and even some of the offbeat shit (clothing, hippiness, etc...but throwing your hands in the air (like you just don’t care) and crying whenever Apu walked by was a tad retard.

Lol. It wasn’t the expense. It was the stupid set of Easter baskets sitting in the guest bathroom.

2nd. Used to work with a Vol cheerleader that got knocked out during a Vol/Bama game. Either Peyton or Tee Martin was trying to kill the clock and nailed her in the head. (This was before the spike). She made Sportscenter and everything. Oh, and would.

And the Easter after that, and the Easter after that, and the...
Nope. This was 10 years ago. I got away cleanly.

To add. She has never asked about them.

My wife once purchased 40 Easter baskets because they were on sale for something like 5 for a dollar. When asked what she was going to do with them, she replied, “I’m not sure but they’ll come in handy one day.” They sat under the guest bathroom sink for weeks.
i waited about 3 months before trashing all of them.

I don’t get the gas tank conundrum. There’s an arrow on the fuel gauge that tells u which side it’s on.

Put in for the lottery so I could take my son. I didn’t think of the idea to pick another team when asked about fav teams on the application. Should have picked the Bills or some other random team.
