  1. Great find! I see his pic with kids in Ep 1, and he doesn’t look familiar yet. I’ll look some more. I play 4-5 nights a week and know every regular as we only have 5-6 $2/5 tables running, max. No cameras are allowed to be used, so he’s breaking house rules FWIW ETA: ah, he’s plying $2/2 which I now avoid with the rake increase. It was arguably already unbeatable
  2. Discussed in Gone Posters thread.
  3. That’s how nasty casinos are. They did a full chip cleanse here once Covid blew up and we all still thought it could spread on surfaces, but I’m already seeing them start to stick again. If nothing else, the mask keeps me from touching my face after touching the chips, cards and felt all night long.
  4. Mask says “hi” I’m still wearing one in the poker room every night, even though I’m superhuman w J&J/Moderna.
  5. I guess I’m not fully up to speed on how it all works, but if the antigens are gone (they don’t persist, regardless of boosters, right?) it’s going to have enough time to infect before body can create more. Presumably many of the symptoms people experience are really caused by the immune system reacting/working rather than by the virus itself. A lot of these are effectively just getting a natural booster, including the side effects that some experience with that.
  6. Selection effect? Not much reason for those of us uninflected to report so.
  7. I’ve definitely seen them block gaiters, but can’t imagine why N95s would be blocked
  8. New to a $2/5 NLHE game w $800. Several limps. I make it $30 on BTN w 98ss. SB, LJ, CO all call. $120 pot 8h8c2c. Checks to me and I make it $40. Folds to LJ who raises to $140. CO folds. I just call. $400 pot. As. LJ open shoves and has me covered. I call my remaining $630. $1660 pot. 4c. He flips over 8d4d. Square in the nuts.
  9. Indeed. I took many solo poker trips the week before Christmas and it was always quiet, which I preferred. Short or no lines for breakfast and buffets. Easy to get cheaper BJ and craps tables, but still sufficient action in the poker rooms. Great season for golf, too.
  10. Yeah. I nailed some hands early building a large stack and started limping in a ton just to see flops. I think I saw my vpip was like 80 at one point
  11. I come in to play my usual $2/5NL and about 30 mins in they call a $2/5 Live Stream. I go ahead and get on the list assuming I’d fill in later, but a ton of registered players didn’t show so they called me right away. I’m already up $300 so I figured I’d just buy in with my current stack of $1100. Only then do I realize this was $2/5 PLO. Oops. Fuck it let’s roll… I’ll tell you now I almost certainly played pretty sub optimal if you care to watch and laugh. 4 hours later I cash out with $3300+
  12. Cooper out w Covid. My team has completely abandoned this week
  13. Massive ceiling/floor gap. Gamble on his passing accuracy and playbook depth, but could definitely pay off w multi redzone TDs. I may grab him for next week when Mahomes is on bye
  14. I’m fascinated that room refreshes are even remotely interesting, much less controversial.
  15. You’re not the only one. Guys who would know say there’s no way he’s profitable in cash games and is milking the YouTube and sponsorship money to cover his poor play. Somehow his approach worked in those tourneys, though.
