Germany will legalize starting in April. https://www.marijuanamoment.net/germany-marijuana-legalization-law-will-take-effect-on-schedule-next-month-after-lawmakers-decline-to-delay-implementation/
  2. Haha - you even knew that they had announced RCS support.
  3. Are you saying you cannot have those apps on a iPhone? All of those app’s are in the App Store. I use WhatsApp frequently on my iPhone.
  4. Is Apple even a monopoly? They have what 65% of the smartphone market? The lawsuit doesn’t even go after the App Store which is the biggest thing people complain about. In the EPIC case a US federal judge already ruled Apple was not engaging in anti-trade practices. https://www.theverge.com/2024/1/16/24039983/supreme-court-epic-apple-antitrust-case-rejected Why are we even talking about RCS, didn’t they already agree to adopt RCS this year? https://www.theverge.com/2023/11/16/23964171/apple-iphone-rcs-support Here is an article that goes into more detail about why this lawsuit is not going to amount to a ton. https://techcrunch.com/2024/03/22/doj-lawsuit-against-apple-is-headline-grabber-with-limited-near-term-impact/ https://sixcolors.com/post/2024/03/u-s-versus-apple-a-first-reaction/ https://appleinsider.com/articles/24/03/21/apple-will-crush-the-doj-in-court-if-garland-sticks-with-outdated-arguments
  5. The technology part of all this is pretty cool. Hope it goes well. Wife started Chemo today, we did do a PET scan right before chemo to make sure their is nothing else (after the Bone and CT scan) and it saw one little enraged lymph node and a couple small nodules in in gut. Nothing to stop the current plan, just stuff to watch. Which was a good update at last.
  6. No, but i just looked and the last couple years it came around the first couple weeks of April.
  7. What are you talking about? 45k seemed so expensive I had to check it. Tons in Austin for less then 10k (and that was 30 seconds on google). https://www.herecomestheguide.com/wedding-venues/texas/region/austin?region[0]=Austin
  8. I am pretty sure you could go from 6 to 4 at anytime. I have 6 right now and I added 2 later and when i renew them they are still listed as sperate line items.
  9. You have not had to wait in the past, when your timeslot comes up you can change the ticket location or numbers. If they change that this year due to the wait list they have not communicated it.
  10. I read this as ~1400 people are eligible to come off the wait list and we think 1000 are going to get a time slot to pick tickets. Presumably that time slot will be after all the current season ticket holders renew/add/move seats. They are not saying you will get tickets because they don’t know what will be available and where.
  11. R1S, I do really like it. They just unveiled the next model R2S which will be a little smaller SUV starting at 47.5k (in 2026)
  12. Missed this topic before. I have a Rivian and absolutely love it, to make this post timely, the Tesla CSS network will open to Rivian’s this week. As they expand to more vendors that sure will open up a lot of charge locations.
  13. Nah, they are a 2 in their preferred region
  14. Actually now that i looked at the email it was a problem on iPads, when i did it in safari on my phone it worked.
  15. I was told there are issues with safari, switched to chrome and it all worked for me as well.
  16. Does anyone else think the buyout is really small? 10M in year one and it decreases quickly.

  18. I think I agree with that, whenever I have had a problem with a fridge it’s not with the basic functions like cooling and freezing. It’s something with the fucking water dispenser or filter or some other gadget.
  19. Ha - I got tickets to the Thursday Wrigley show. But that is a good point, I bet they are going to do that. Taking the daughters to see Olivia Rodrigo on Wednesday.
  20. In post op she was sharing beauty tips with the nurses and commented she even figured out a way to get half off her manicures.
  21. update, I had been avoiding this. I posted this on 2/7, I 2/14 we found out the tumor was in fact an aggressive cancer (Rhabdomyosarcoma), and had grown so large, and started to effect nearby lymph nodes, there was not a choice and we had to amputate. Life and death choices become crystal clear when you need to make them. So on 2/15 she had surgery. She has been super tough, and was up and walking a hour after surgery, home in 2 days and doing almost everything she was doing before already and is ready for the next fight. She has been truly inspirational to our whole family. Tomorrow we have the follow up from surgery to hear the pathology results and hopefully negative margins, and the follow up plan for chemotherapy, even with the tumor removed she will need chemo due to the aggressive nature of the cancer. (She did have a bone scan with contrast and a CT scan of her whole abdomen pre-surgery that showed no other signs of cancer). It has been a ton in a short time, but it really makes you value every day you have.
  22. I heard the “seat donation” on one in the last couple years was 100k a year with a 10yr commit. + the cost fo the tickets (and catering) I assume

dry herb vaping is what I do as well. I know we don’t have the exact science, but it seems better then smoking what might be in the “yellow vials” and logically better then combustion. At this point I have tried most of the popular portable vapes and the Xmas V3 is a great starter vape, and the price point is great. I really like using the dosage caps, makes clean up much easier.
