You act like that’s a bad thing. Healthcare is the single biggest factor that prevents people from seeking better employment, choosing to live on one income instead of two, or starting businesses of their own. When employers can’t handcuff their workers with healthcare, wages are the primary tool they have to keep them, and if they choose not to pay market rate, they will suffer the consequences.

    Don’t confuse bondage with benefit.

My man, you are so out of touch with the hourly wage earner in America. You’ve lost the plot if you think healthcare is what keeps hourly workers from seeking better employment. Healthcare is pretty far down the list when you’re making a wage that makes you eligible for Medicaid.

That is a key feature, maybe THE key feature of any reform that seeks improvement to the private health insurance market, not a bug. All employees are ALREADY paying the full boat cost, they are just bartering some amount of their labor for it and giving their employer the entire tax break, in return for a suboptimal risk pool and no portability.

You’re not wrong, but let’s not pretend that employers would pass on any savings to labor.

So, my across the street neighbors have abandoned their house and left their dogs in the backyard.  One female pit/mix that is just insanely sweet, and a HUUUUGE German Shepherd almost pup (about 3 y/o) that is just beautiful and also so friendly.  Me and the neighbor lady (no pics she's nice you animals) have been feeding and watering them when we can, and Animal Control brings them a big bag of kibble when they visit.  I hate to think they will end up in county and destroyed.  I can't take them because that is theft and we're on the line with trespassing just feeding them.  Such a huge shitty situation.

Is it a renter? Do you know who owns the home? If not, you can look it up on the county assessor’s website. You could likely work with a rescue to get permission from the owner to rescue the dogs.

3 777s seems like a lot for one team, but I’m sure they have people on staff who can do the math

If you’re going to do your own charters, you need at least two to have one as a spare. They have three and use them as a profit center to run charters for other users outside of the team. For the game against the Cowboys at AT&T Stadium this year, they sold a group package for fans using one of them.

Also, the cap only concerns the players.  You can absolutely save money on everything else involving football operations from the salaries of the GM, HC, on down.  It's why the Cardinals are always Fs across the board when it comes to stuff like food for the players, amenities, etc.  Their shitbag owner is a cheapskate.

FWIW, old man Bidwill was a notorious cheapskate, but he died several years ago. His son is now in charge and is spending money in a way that his dad would have never considered. The team owns three 777s for team charters, they’re building a huge new practice facility in North Phoenix and they’ve been spending on upgrades to State Farm Stadium. It hasn’t translated to results on the field, but Michael isn’t nearly as cheap as his dad was.

Costco has Bose QuietComfort headphones for $169 ($160 off).

Grabbed two directly from Bose for my wife and me. You get an additional 10% if you sign up for their mailing list. Ordered them, got the confirmation and unsubscribed. Got two sets for less than $400 all in.

This. We won’t collect that revenue. They’ll just stop coming.
And I recall on our summer trip to the Yosemite valley floor like 10+ years ago, it was full of buses of Chinese tourists. Take those out of the mix, and revenue would go way down.

Is mark kelly a person that can win potus in 2028?  He’s white and male so that’s a decent start for so many voters. Veteran, senator from a swing state (zonahorn I’m sure would have something to say about that characterization), not ancient, demonstrable family man.

He’s not a very charismatic public speaker.
