I have driven around plenty of pedestrians and watched closely how the car reacts to them while in FSD. It’s almost maddeningly cautious. My experience has also been that the car sees and visualizes pedestrians on the display before I even notice them.
That’s skirting the question. An adult pedestrian is very different than a child that is smaller, shiftier and harder to predict than an adult. You move the goal posts a lot in your quest to stan for Tesla.

Pantsed? MrBig pointed out information that I had not noticed. I acknowledged it and I thanked him for it.
It would be a better world if we could all admit that none of us always has the whole picture.
I admit that I am biased based on what I experience consistently while using Tesla’s FSD system. I’m still a bit puzzled by that video because it doesn’t match my experience observing first-hand how this system operates. But I’m willing to admit that my experience isn’t definitive.Clearly, the majority of folks on this thread have decided that they have the whole picture regarding Tesla’s approach to FSD and have passed final judgment. They highlight information that supports that bias and dismiss any information that doesn’t.
I’m willing to participate in this thread and be a bit of a punching bag because I think it’s important to share another perspective.
But y’all tell me to fuck off and leave the thread, and I will.
How many kids have run out in front of your Tesla while you’ve been beta testing FSD?

Per the headline, “Arizona small town.” Gilbert is one of the fastest growing cities in America and has a population of 300,000. Hardly a quaint small town.

You are correct. I did not notice that before. Thanks for pointing it out.

You said that the driver was pressing the accelerator and then you got pantsed. Dude, take the L.

Good point.
I want to go to this new Euro/Texan place called Blue Tuba at the old Harold's In the Heights location in Houston. It sounds absurd. They have "tacos" on their menu, apparently, that will make Velvet's seem traditional.
Read about that place on Culturemap earlier this week. Check it out and report back in new Houston restaurants thread.

I know what I’m doing this evening.

Comparing Torchy’s or Velvet to taqueria tacos is apples and oranges to me. Sure, both are tortillas wrapped around a filling just like apples and oranges are both fruits. The comparison ends there. They are completely different products and it’s not some sort of crime against humanity to like both.

The gag order that was entered specifically said he could not make comments about jurors or potential jurors. some of his violations were dicey because the gag order was not explicit enough and was vague on the issue involved this ain’t that.
I’m sure he will be hit by some monetary sanction. That’s so small it is not a punishment, but the way contempt sanctions work is they start off slow and then increase in severity.

Casa Linda’s.
The prices of tacos are too damn high and it’s mostly these two shitheads contributing to it. Literally any place south of 71/290 can put out anything better.

I don’t want to give Fox News any clicks. Can someone summarize who wrote the opinion and what was the gist of it?
In summary, Marjorie Taylor Greene is an idiot.

you have just described every person i have ever know who comes from a privileged background.
It really is amazing how lacking in self awareness people who come from generational wealth are. I consider myself a lucky SOB to have been born into a situation where I never had to worry about money growing up and, for that reason, I want others to be able raise their families in the same way.

Anyone know how much Tesla has spent on developing the Cybertruck? Given the lengthy delays it has to be a ton. I’m guessing the next few quarterly earning reports and investor calls are going to be ugly given the flagging sales of their (stale) core lineup and the shit reception of the truck.

For someone that has been afforded every single possible privilege in this country, he’s the got the biggest persecution complex and hates the systems that have afforded him the aforementioned privilege.

I thought the same thing, but it galls me to no end how un-Christian mainstream Christianity has become.

If they are truly all corrupt, don’t you want the group that will get you the most of what you want or at least the least of what you don’t want?
Unless you are 100Maire or greater, are a religious loony, or want a child bride, there is no reason I can think of at this point to pick a republican over a democrat
Don’t forget hating immigrants and non-whites.

I bet that’s a drop in the bucket compared to what DPS spends protecting Abbott and flying his ass around the state for his PR stunts to get on Fox News and Newsmax.

I know I'm carpet bombing this thread right now, but thanks. I'm going to grieve for a day or two but it's time to move on. I will find other straight guys that are cool as shit that like to do cool shit and aren't lost. at our age, life long friends are a misnomer. friends come and go now. that's just reality. I have 4-5 life long friends that have stuck with me and that's just it, and I'll protect those to the death, but this guy is a 7-8 year friend and he's gone.
No apology necessary for all the posts. I, for one, find it interesting and sad at the same time to see real life stories play out in realtime as a reminder that this shit is real and it’s dangerous. I hear you on life long friends. I have five friends (was 6, but we tragically lost one to suicide) that I will protect to the end and have known each other for 30+ years. Others come and go, but those relationships persevere.
