RB18 with like 2 different stickers.

And those wheels linked are the best ones for an FJ/4Runner IMO. They also have a little more offset I believe so it will push the tire out a little more.

Yes they were. Old hards vs new softs is a big disadvantage.
Yep. Tire offset is the biggest time differentiator in F1.
In the same race, Max’s last flying lap on his old hard set was on lap 35 and was 1:27.76. He pits and his first full flying lap on the new hard set is 1:26.32 on lap 38. That is 1.4 seconds just on the same compound, so you can imagine what two compounds softer can do.
You typically don’t want to do that because it ruins tire longevity with these Pirellis (you want to warm them up more slowly), but it was one lap to go, so he sent it of course.
However, looking at the data it does look to me like Lewis dumped all of his ERS deployment on the two back straights and had nothing left, which makes lap time slower overall, but he had to do that to try and overtake on the straight.

yeah...that's amazing.
did max just have a mega lap or did lewis back off at the very end or both?
max went from down 4 tenths to winning by 2.256 seconds?
New softs vs old hards.- 2

A few more.

oooh I'm interested to hear how that goes. Some kind of Les Paul Junior/Special has been on my list for a minute.
Rip Tom Verlaine. I think most associated with a jazzmaster but lots of pics with him and this interesting lipstick pickup strat
Damn, I didn’t see he had died.
Gotta go listen to some Television now.- 1

Daytona 24 just started.

You forgot the important step - the plastic housing breaks in half.. I have a spare on the shelf for that reason
Still on my stock one at 141k!
This tool fits it perfectly and is awesome. Really well made.

Button is really good at it, but never seems to really be enjoying himself when he’s part of the coverage.
I do like Ant a lot, too, but he still is technically employed by Mercedes. Doesn’t bother me of course, but may be an issue with others. He is now retired from all other racing, though, so he could do it. -
No more Johnny Herbert or Paul DiResta on Sky.

Me?
I re-read your post and see what you were saying now.
One thing I did not realize is that the European Commission requires that they separate commercial and promotional entities from the rest of the sport. So, while the FIA technically does own the rights, in practice they do not (but of course still make their money from them with their agreement with FOM). But man, there is quite a rabbit hole with the history of FOCA/FOPA/FOM/SLEC/CVC/Liberty. Too many acronyms.- 1

There’s another truck thread?

Just discovered this thread.
I’m not a massive birder like some here, more of an opportunist like Patricio Swayze.
I do, however, have an affinity for the California Condor.
I’ve been out to see them a few times and went to the release that is hosted by the Peregrine Fund last year.
Some photos.
That last one and one of them above with the chick were really cool to see, since wild hatched condors are still extremely rare (but increasing!). That chick (1150) fledged about 2 months ago. The bird tagged R5 is the mother, and 19 is the father.- 2

So that sounds like FIA: F1 is in fact FIFA: Premier League
Kind of, but since FIFA governs international competition only, I think the more apt comparison would be EPL -> FA or UEFA.
*not a soccer person, please correct if wrong. -
You are conflating FIA and FOM.
FOM has everything to do with the commercial rights, and Liberty currently owns it with Domenicali as CEO.
FIA is governing body. They make and enforce the rules. Mohammed Ben Sulayem is the current president.
They also sanction WEC, WRC, Formula E, and others.
FIM is the motorcycle version, and they sanction MotoGP. Dorna Sports is MotoGP’s version of FOM. -
Buddy of mine that lives outside Seattle in a rural area just switched to the Rugged Treks. Raves about them. He was a big Falken Wildpeak guy before, and claimed they were superior. Of course his use case is a bit different than mine.
Looks like these are decently new. There are not a ton of sizes or E load rating versions. -
I’ve been tempted to switch to Cooper ST Maxx, but went with KO2 again last time since I knew what I had in them.
To add, I would get the KO2 over the regular Cooper AT3. The ST Maxx is a mud/all terrain hybrid. -
Another one that came to mind is what sounds like a car horn in “Just Got Paid”.

Like the splice in “Strawberry Fields Forever.”
Or the kick drum pedal squeak in “Since I’ve Been Loving You”.
Sorry.- 1

Since you pointed out the headstock and tuner mounting location difference, I can’t unsee it. Not in a bad way, just something I look at on every one now, haha.

The GT is a little goofy looking for me.

That is weird lol. My 77 is almost 11 lbs, and switching between that and the 8 lb R7, the R7 feels like it's levitating
I actually was referring to the ‘58, even though they aren’t exactly the OE button style (not that they’re that different).
Agree that Schallers are typically good. The Fender locking ones are excellent.

Late February to early May for birds.
Weather, late October to early April.
Can easily extend that if you are not tent camping, though.
