    Thanks.

Doing okay. One day at a time. I sometimes feel that my side effects might be on the worse side of the spectrum for my regimen, but hey, what can you do. There’s a few I don’t have, so I’ll take that as a win.

  2. Looks pretty good to me, Mr. Swayze.

I haven’t been able to go shoot anything, but I have a metric fuckload of slides I could scan.

Lots of old locomotives, some stuff from Japan, some old National park stuff, etc. Maybe I’ll get around to that.

  3. Well, truth be told, I got hemorrhoids from chemo induced constipation that caused such severe constipation that internal roids bled and I was hospitalized for severe anemia.  And now I have to take Miralax daily to keep the pipes moving.  So yeah, my shit's fucked up, literally.

Miralax is definitely a godsend. I ain’t to that point, but pooping is a whole different thing while on chemo, that’s for damn sure.

  4. This.  The good news is that you did not wait as long as Warren Zevon. SB is right about prostate being one of the least worst cancers, although maybe thyroid is an even better pick. No matter what Hate, you got this.

  5. It’s for ERS deployment only, but it depends on a few things like battery SoC and harvesting mode, etc. they need to be in the right operating window to use it. It’s not a huge difference like the engine mode changes were before, though.

  6. That is cool. I once made a pinhole camera in my tech ed/shop class in middle school (we also learned to shoot on 35mm SLRs and develop BW in a darkroom; coolest class I ever had in grade school). Too bad I don’t think any of my old photos from then were kept.

  7. That shit is the worst.  I did taxol and carboplatin, and I felt pretty decent the first couple of weeks.  Then it just started to get worse and worse.  One of the worst things is that foods you absolutely LOVE just sound disgusting when you're going through chemo.  Everything sounds gross.
The ass-dragging is no fun either.  Hang in there.

Yeah. I just….. never wanna eat. Sometimes I drink the high calorie Boost/Ensure shakes just to get calories in me. When I do eat I feel full very quickly too. I wonder if that will carryover, lol.
  8. I went to an airshow yesterday at March AFRB.
What a clusterfuck.  It literally took us 3 fucking hours to get through the gates once we exited the freeway.
Once inside, the show was quite good.  Got to see the inside of a Super Galaxy and other heavies, lots of WWII birds (most of them hopped over from Chino), The Thunderbirds, etc.   Bullshitting with the G5 pilots; out of Texas, one is an AA guy, the other UA.
But what an ill-run event.  Every trash can overflowing, every porta-john overflowing, every handwash station empty, non-existent traffic control.

Same thing happened at the show at Dyess in Abilene on Saturday. Absolute clusterfuck of traffic control. If you entered through the east road leading to the commercial entry gate instead of the west road, you were basically fucked because they sent traffic down the west road to turn around then get in line again.

Found a spot on the west side of the airfield though, (luckily there is a road over there) and watched some good stuff from over here (along with s ton of others). I’ll post some pictures if I can get around to editing them.
  9. Tried going to the Big Country Air Show in Abilene (which was an absolute cluster, couldn’t even get in).

    Went to The Shed instead.

It was pretty solid, but not spectacular.
