  1. That’s such a bullshit narrative. Every college athlete posts their workouts. If I was working with Diggs and Landry, id post that too. Bitches we’re probably heavily in his DMs.
  2. I don’t understand this narrative either. Casey has shown to be a bit of a gunslinger. He seems to be infatuated with the low percentage throws. That 50 yard bomb he threw to Jaden Alexis on a 4th & 3 in the spring game was odd, but they nearly connected.
  3. Jacob “Cannon Arm” Eason is getting beat out by Sam Ehlinger in Fall Camp. The guy with lesser arm talent than both our projected starters. These scrimmages will add some clarity to the depth chat. I’m ready to see Bijan juke a Cajun out of his gotdamn britches.
  4. I wonder what’s the average of yards per pass for Casey’s 76 collegiate snaps. Everytime Herman tossed him in to play he was slinging that bitch down field. I don’t even know if it’s 76 snaps, I just took a ballpark guess.
  5. Card didn’t exactly demonstrate those qualities in the action I’ve seen. His eyes dropped & he rolled out deep with any sign of pressure. We’ll see how much these QBs progressed over the summer.
  6. I think this topic has been discussed like five times in this thread. Card may be a better athlete, but he looks clumsy and uncoordinated when a play breaks down. He certainly doesn’t look like a former wide receiver. When Casey tucks the ball he looks dynamic and natural.
  7. I think Casey pulls away when the pads come on. Part of me wants Card for his potential, I just don’t think he’s that guy just yet.
  8. I don’t remember ever hearing about Casey in practice reports the last three years the way Card has been this off-season. I imagine Casey was more efficient and accurate than Sam in shorts.
  9. That’s just not true. If we beat them convincingly, it’s because we’re much improved.
  10. I heard on the Blitz podcast this morning that in Schooler’s 400+ snaps playing saftey at Oregon, he had a higher PFF coverage grade than any Texas defender since Holton Hill in 2017. He also seems to be very willing to throw his body around. I think he’ll be a more than capable starter. The physicality Schooler & BJ bring will also allow the defense to run more dime looks. Corner is the position that worries me. We have two decent starters and bunch of young guys.
  11. All the freshman defensive lineman look like they’ve been in college three years. I don’t know if that’s good or not. Sorrell is a lean jacked 6’4 250lbs.
  12. Might be the worst take ever. Vince was graceful as fuck. He was art in motion.
  13. Probably is, he looks like a giraffe in the open field though. You’d think a former wide receiver would be a more coordinated athlete.

  15. Casey seems to love the low percentage passes. I think he’s got a bit of a gunslinger mentality. He had a wide open check down when he threw that late out route in the Spring game. Same thing with that almost pick 6 against Colorado.
  16. There’s a clip on the Longhorn Football IG of Imade hitting like 10 consecutive pull-ups at 360. He is a specimen.
  17. How does a dual sport track athlete with double digit interceptions fly under the radar in New Orleans? Glad to have him.

  19. That shit don’t look like it’ll be finished in 30 days.
