I'm a Hilton guy too but was too lazy to actually call them and inquire about this, so thanks for that. (In Knoxville I prefer the Cumberland House or the Graduate). Got a VBRO booked just in case (but it is not as close to downtown as I prefer).
When the offense is in a position that they have to score and let Arch sling it they are at their best. I don’t know why Sark doesn’t see this. Let him play fast and loose and we’re cooking. (Because the o-line, as shitty as they are seems to understand this and perform enough to let him do it)
Admittedly, I haven’t read all of the thread. But, I was there on Friday and while there was definitely trash talk towards the Euros I didn’t think anything was over the top (for the most part). I can say that the crowd kept waiting for Team USA to give them something to cheer and erupt for but it didn’t come (or was short lived). Europe kicked our ass and it seemed the crowd just accepted it. The US players didn’t help as they seemed to be just going through the motions and accepted it as well. I did get a nice day buzz so I had that going for me…which was nice.
Can’t speak for today and I didn’t get to watch much of it but was following the scoring. Pure dominance by the Euros on the home field. Embarrassing. There needs to be a top to bottom evaluation of how Team USA goes about the Ryder Cup.
My wife is a Camp Mystic alum. She was in tears last night and today has not been much better. As the father of two daughters my heart is broken for those families affected. Gut wrenching doesn’t give the emotions enough credit.
