  1. So I've tried a couple quordles now and I'm not sure what to think about it yet- other than it might take a different strategy.

Someone needs to start hammering at her that the state doesn’t need that much power, that state government should be shrunk down to minimal levels and all the power given to local municipalities.  Why should Atlanta get to tell the whole state what to do?

and then maybe we can walk it down to individual right to set your own laws on your own property.

also if there’s very little federal government, who enforces the amendments that she cares about?

Dems and moderate Republicans need to find and fund a viable nut job to outflank Trump in the GOP primary.  Then they need to coalesce around a moderate candidate (DeSantis ain’t it).  If they don’t get somebody to draw some of the crazies away from Trump then he has already won.

That is entirely possible in a state like mine that allows people who aren't registered as GOP to vote in the primary.  But how common is that?  Don't most state require that you're registered in the party whose primary you're voting for?

It's a pretty common theme, but a pretty creepy image. And a batshit crazy tweet.

  5. She's so fucking simple.

Lost in all the rhetoric is the fact that she's really only saying she wants to go back (way back) to a bare bones federal government.  It's not a "divorce" at all, but more of an open marriage (admittedly a concept she knows a lot more about than me).  Red and blue states will still share a house to shelter and protect them, they'll just get rid of the joint bank accounts and vow not to meddle in each other's personal affairs.

There's actually a way to articulate that sentiment that doesn't set the internet on fire, but when the real goal is attention, what's the point in that?

    That's the joke.  (I rent.)

Good to know.  I was about to get aggressive.

I'm just glad we've had a couple of weeks of mild temps.  Driveway is completely clear.  Roof is mostly clear.  Still a lot of snow on the ground but whatever. Did manage to get a lot of dog shit cleaned up in the thaw.
