I didn't get any pics, but if any of you ever have to go to the Twin Cities, hit the Lebanon Hills trail system.  Rode up there on Saturday with my brother, a buddy from college (who is currently staying in my brother's garage), and my old man.  Really great flow to the trails, easy to follow, and just a lot of fun.  The old man has barely ever ridden singletrack and he took a pretty good digger as we were trying to keep up with the guys who knew the trail system pretty well.

My brother is coming down later this month to our trail system and I'm hoping to return the favor some.

Ride there pretty often with my son.  It's really well groomed, marked, and maintained.  Best in the area, and there are a lot.

We've hit up just about everything in the Twin Cities, so Cuyuna is next.  Or maybe Decorah.  Need to get back to Pulpit Rock.

We all know this admin is a clown show, but the incompetence is utterly unnerving to read about. If you can stomach it, read this whole thing. The article begins with the story of Kushner paying $52mm for 1 million tests from UAE that were contaminated and not ordered through any official procurement processes. It goes downhill from there...

It's good, and not all that long, but I couldn't get through it in one sitting.  I'll let the rage subside and finish tomorrow.

  3. Spot on.
They'll say whatever to appear less monstrous in the history books.
But in the end, they will vote for Trump because they want abortion to be illegal, they want their tax cut, and they want that wall to stop the tidal wave of brown people seeking a better life.
I'd bet every penny I have that at least 90% of registered Republicans will vote for him again.  Most of them wouldn't vote for Jesus Christ if he had the "D" next to his name.

This is my wife's family- one issue voters. Literally nothing else matters.

My wife is also pro life in a big way but unlike her family, she places a high value on lives out of the womb as well. As such, she will not hold her nose and vote for a tyrant.
  4. 4:57 p.m.  I-35 is back down to one open lane in each direction through downtown.
In other words it's still moving at about the same pace.

I know you're talking about Austin but keep in mind the Twin Cities are on I35 too.

As of now, here, they are keeping all highways open. With all the Intel of the protesters jumping to the suburbs, I'd think they may want to lock them down at curfew
  5. Tonight's going to suck so hard. I live in a suburb but even in running some errands, I could feel the tension in the air. The Targets are boarded up, the sound of copters is constant, and there's a steady stream of National Guard vehicles rolling down the highway. People are going to die tonight and I hate it..

  6. one of the big liquor stores in Minny straight up being looted by the entire block.  shitloads of folks walking out with sixers, cases and none of them wearing anything covering their face....
Yeah, Chicago Lake. Used to be my honey hole for rare beers because they got them all, but their clientele prefers cheap vodka a pint at a time.
