  1. I went to X so you don’t have to: I would say there is a difference between club and country for this. You could even argue that there is something good about working to improve the league in the US. That said, like Nap pointed out, the dude took time off from the USMNT and it cost him his 2014 spot. So calling out guys for sitting …

  3. This team is still soft. Even the B team. I don’t get it.
  4. Poor. Need to do more with that kind of advancement.

  6. It’s a head in the sand thing. If the files aren’t released we can deny knowing who’s actually in the list, even though it’s likely all the names we would expect. I mean just look at pictures of who we have seen Epstein and Maxwell. You can guarantee anyone in any picture with them is on the list. We can keep our faux outrage while pretending they really aren’t on the list.
  7. Galloway’s solutions are pretty basic - find and mentor a male kid in need. Go volunteer with Big Brothers. Help boys with no positive male role model to have one. Overcome this stigma that being interested in helping shape a young man’s life is something “weird”. It’s really not that hard, it just takes effort.
  8. When you ask grok to make this tweet a gif
  9. Spurs are just getting ahead. Think of all the teams that their coach won them a cup and then failed. How many years into Arteta are we?
  10. Trump is only posting on Truth Elon is only posting on X Yeah, VERYYYYYYY direct.
  11. This is what Grok cranked out when I asked it to turn that tweet into a gif.
  12. Who wouldn't take a job where winning a trophy won't guarantee you work?
  13. This cannot be understated - controlling what you see is paramount to this being a far better site than Facefriend or Instasnap or Tik Gram. When they control what you see, it's not healthy and honestly, I find it boring.
  14. If not for travel plans this weekend I would be there (Boston). I don't care who this squad is, B/C/F-. I agree this would be dirt cheap to get in and see.
  15. C. Just give me the captive bolt now.
  16. Again, we just told every manager out there - the mountaintop is not good enough.
  17. Galloway has a great example of the double standard of the white guy vs everyone else Often we hear "These white guys need to get off their asses" "These white guys need to be raised right" Replace white guys with black people, women or any other minority group and think of what the fallout of such a statement would be.
  18. That guy was British https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-50695593
  19. Don't win a trophy Get to a final, but piss everyone off Win a major European trophy
  20. Rehitting this whole men left behind thing - I've been meaning to get to this for a bit, it's a podcast by Scott Galloway and Anthony Scaramucci (way more intelligent than you probably think he is) that is about this lost generation of males. The basic premise is that we have ripped up the script that males were expected to follow for almost all of history - be the provider for the family unit - and rightly so because now others can pull those duties. But we haven't given them a new playbook of what to do. We tell them you can't do X, Y, Z - again this is not the problem. The problem is that we haven't given them a new script to follow. Again, this isn't my view - this is theirs, and a hopeful guide on how to improve things - IE hopefully not let guys like Andrew Tate and others become their guide on the journey.
