I check the news. I can’t claim responsibility as I had to take my mom to the ER. She has pneumonia. Sitting in the ER is super fun. I was on a whole other side of town man.

You really do enjoy checking in on those victims?  Like the murderer that always returns to the scene.

So, what will IR8 fans do now? Why, they’ll keep on carping about Texas. I don’t get the FWST, but I saw this article posted in the men’s room at Central Market in FW.

The premise is stupid- neither Manning nor Ewers are going anywhere. Austin, coached by Sark, playing behind this line and throwing to these receivers is where they both intend to be. Doesn’t matter to Engel.

He is the kind of writer that is so pro the home town team that he is consistently anti the team he seems TCU’s real rival-Texas. I have never seen him write anything positive about Texas (pre-season, he said Texas had the most talent, but he was still not picking Texas to win the B12 because he thought Sark was flawed as a coach). He delights in any TCU win over Texas, in any sport.

And he just can’t let it go. Ha-ha-ha-ha!

Almost as bad as Cedric Golden stirring the pot with Ewers needs to watch his back with Manning staying around.  TCU is gonna TCU, in just the same ways Tceh and aggy will always celebrate a loss of ours.

At the hotel just piss in the dark and hope for the best. And always leave a tip for whoever has to clean that bathroom floor.

This is how I imagine most Okies live life...  But at least you go above and beyond and tip.

Two people killed at a game room off Rundberg around 4:30 this morning:
    https://www.kxan.com/news/local/austin/apd-investigating-homicide-on-parkfield-drive-in-north-austin/

That'll be homicide #2-3, putting us at a faster starting pace than at any point in the past five years. The hits just keep on coming.

I do love they called this the first murder of 2023 on the news last night, like they want to forget Garza's pal that attempted the Murder / Suicide on Oltorf.

Ended 2023 with 73 homicides compared to 71 in 2022. Most cities saw a double-digit drop.

I will say, this includes random guy driving up from San Antonio to kill four Austinites and 3-4 self-defense shootings that are labeled homicide, but it's not the traditional sense.

Dude saw the finish line and did his best to push Austin past it!

So cleaning up the facade of the buildings is going to keep the dirty trash from going to 6th and ruining 6th? That's a bold strategy.

You can clean up 6th by blaring classical music. Dipshit wannabe gangstas, underage shitheads looking for trouble, and homeless are allergic to classical music.

To be fair, it's a lot of work patching up all the bullet holes.

So....you're aware that Brat and Mrs. Brat are really old, right?  Like "I don't know, this new Council of Nicea shit doesn't sit right with me" old.

I hear he remembers the fall of Constantinople.

This thread is fucking my Facebook algorithm more than clicking on tree fiddy anti-vax links.

Anyone mention that the 3rd year in question is the Covid season?  One OOC game and that's the bowl game.  The following season they were the laughing stock after opting out of a bowl game to pad their record.  You're comparing the 2021 season of UT, the first year post Covid, to 2018 aggy!?

EDIT: 2018 aggy brought us such huge opponents as Northwestern State, Louisiana-Monroe, and UAB.  2019 brought Texas State, Lamar, and UTSA.

Easily attracts termites. & The only lumber to store close to the house would be pressure treated.

Eh, it's a huge foundation wall under the deck, so I'm not worried about the termites so much.  It's also lined underneath the deck with tin over the firewood to help keep it dry.

You know, the space below the deck is a great place to store scraps like that.  Just tell the wife there are spiders down there and she'll never go looking.

That space is reserved for firewood.  It's ridiculously stocked after last year's ice storm.

  11. I love dirty 6th.  It's a great place for all the trash to congregate and not screw up all the other spots in town.  Having that crap go down at the Domain, or Mueller, or anywhere else would no good.  6th street is like the decoy for out of towners.

Now, can we discuss building a wall around Killeen and keeping those clowns encapsulated and away from Austin?

Any adult who prioritizes a certificate of accomplishment over their coworkers' health and safety is a worthless piece of shit that should be shot into the sun.

Then again, you have employers that enforce that 80% work from office requirement, and / or have a limited sick leave, almost forcing you to come in if at all possible.
