  1. Watching P2 now. I can boastfully, and with a bit of bravado, say that the last time I drove the circuit in Monaco I did not crash. Of course, I was in a minivan and it was the Tuesday after the race, with the barriers still up, and I drove in reverse of the race direction. 😂 This is just such a course no longer suited to these cars. It’s kind of crazy.
  2. Distracting, yes. Harassment, perhaps not.
  3. I’m just watching P1 now, well done, Lance. Please, Mr. Stroll, put us out of our misery.
  4. EDIT: Parker averaged 21.5 points with 3.8 rebounds. Manu averaged 18.5 points with 3.8 rebounds. They combined for 9.6 assists per game.
  5. In that playoff run, the 27-year old KPerk: They beat Dallas, 4-0. KPerk scored 15 points with 25 rebs, averaged 0.8 blocks, 0.3 steals; 33-year old Dirk averaged 26.8 points and 6.3 rebounds. They beat the Lakers, 4-1. KPerk scored 20 points with 28 rebounds, avg 2.2 blocks and 0.4 steals; Bynum and Pau combined to average 28.6 points and 19.4 rebounds. They beat San Antonio, 4-2. KPerk scored 35 points with avg 6.2 reb and 1.3 blocks; 35-year old Timmy Duncan averaged 17 points and 9.8 rebounds They lost to Miami, 1-4. KPerk scored 24 points with avg 6.8 reb with 0.6 blocks and 0.2 steals; Bosh averaged 14.6 points and 9.4 rebounds. KPerk, Al Bundy's long lost brother.
  6. KPerk is such an insufferable jagoff
  7. Looks like Leslie Caron’s dress in the one scene of An American In Paris
  8. I enjoyed this as well but, I felt it could have been a lot more, especially with this cast.
  9. What does “play by play era” mean?
  10. That was just great fun. Playoff basketball is amazing
  11. They have a shot. Miller must be so wound up inside.
  12. This is crazy. That review took too damned long though. Brutal. Damn, that was so close.
  13. I have no team to root for but, this game is much more enjoyable than the game last night.
  14. No McKennie, Weah or Reyna as well as Pulisic.
  15. We went, not last season but in 2023. It was a lot of fun. We were sitting right across from the pits so we could see some interesting stuff. It’s certainly not a race for race fans. It’s more of a check-list event. Drove to Nice, train from Nice. Getting out of Monaco was a pain in the ass with over 100,000 people trying to get through to a train. Perhaps the funniest part was as we relaxed after the race and allowed most of the crowd to leave we couldn’t help but laugh at the people trying to weasel their way through to certain parties and yachts. It was fun. I’ll watch from the couch this year. Last year I watched on a big screen TV at a beach bar about 100 miles away and that was a lot of fun as well.
  16. Could you imagine the idiocy if Swoops and K. Perkins were to get married. She is such an unlikable human.
  17. Ha Ha, I didn't say everyone that went there was good. My buddy Kevin's mom went to Aliquippa with him.
  18. Everyone around here loves All The Right Moves. I don't think it is cinematic genius but, I think it was pretty accurate as far as the depressing nature of what it's like to be in a dying steel town. Filmed in Johnstown, fewer than 60 miles from my house. The coach of the rich-kid school was none other than Don Yannessa who was then coach of Aliquippa H.S., which happens to be one of the most impoverished schools in a dead steel town around Pittsburgh. It's also one of the most successful, Ditka, Darrelle Revis, Sean Gilbert, Ty Law, Jon Baldwin and many more played there. Later in his career Yannessa coached at Ambridge H.S., the town named for the company there, the American Bridge Company, which was sort of the basis for the movie's Ampipe H.S. I liked both of those movies.
  19. No, that was Big Red Walton and Portland beating Dr. J and the 76ers. EDIT: didn’t see the other response to the ‘77 championship
  20. I think Seattle got there in 1978 and lost to the Bullets and in 1979 they got back and beat the Bullets.
  21. The speeds these guys carry for four laps is truly remarkable & insane.
