  1. Seattle had some chances. That TD catch for Green Bay was awesome. Seahawks deserved to lose though with those uniforms.
  2. Steelers are still a bit of Fool’s Gold. They are not at the same level as the top teams. They are getting better but, still have a ways to go.
  3. Jackson was great. The whole defense was. I was with Jackson a few weeks ago at a tailgate. Great guy.
  4. Fuck all of them. In 2023 Formula 1 generated $3,222,000,000.00 in revenue. I think there is a way to pay for this. Greedy fuckers.
  5. I was so lucky to watch him play in person. That team was unreal. The defensive line, all five of them, started as rookies in the NFL. On one side you had Green and opposite him you had Rickey Jackson. My cousin was a freshman on the 1979 team and his first week in camp his job was to “attempt to block” Green, or Jackson. Said it was not fun, nor successful. I go back to the stats that Chase Young and Hutchinson put up the season they were talked about for the Heisman and they did absolutely nothing compared to Green. In 1980 Green has 123 tackles, 17 sacks, 11 TFL, 7 forced fumbles, 4 recovered 6 passes defended. He won the Maxwell, Walter Camp and Lombardi awards and was the UPI and Sporting News P.O.Y. I’ll continue my rant just a bit more. Aaron Donald should have won the Heisman and so should have Larry Fitzgerald. And Vince Young, too.
  6. Hell, I’m still pissed Hugh Green didn’t win.
  7. I was just talking to a good friend who was a captain there, played in the early 80s, and he said he is not sure what will happen other than he will now again be able to get his field passes for whatever games he wants. So, he’s good with it. 🤣
  8. https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/42933812/the-three-biggest-reasons-lebron-los-angeles-lakers-flailing-west
  9. I saw it 11 hours ago but, I didn’t want to be that grammar/English language guy.
  10. LeBron is taking some time away from the Lakers for “personal reasons”
  11. Up at State College people have a habit of “looking the other way” so I am not surprised they missed the obvious.
  12. That’s awesome. Twitter has some funny shit.
  13. So, this will be more like Bill Walsh at Stanford after his years with the 49ers rather than his years at Stanford before the 49ers?
  14. A pretty decent remake of the classic Philadelphia Story, with the lovely Grace Kelly. It’s kind of funny though that the opening aerial scene is Newport, Rhode Island and then the first scene is Louis Armstrong and his band getting off a bus at the house later occupied by the Clampetts.
  15. Parsons gonna opt out the rest of the season and enter the portal.
  16. Oh, I forgot. One reason I like Schumacher so much is that he did it with three different engines and two teams. Fangio won with four different teams/engines Mercedes, Alfa, Maserati and Ferrari. The Germans also like to say how much Schummi helped build up Mercedes, which Hamilton benefitted from, before he finally retired. I have read a bit about that and feel it needs more serious study. Hamilton won all seven of his titles with a Mercedes engine. I think all four of Senna’s were Honda, and, if I remember correctly Vettel’s were powered by Renault. I think the way it took Schumacher, Brawn and Todt so long to rebuild Ferrari, cuz it was shit, is incredible when he could have been winning a shit ton of races with another team. It’s just fun to discuss because there are a lot of valid arguments.
  17. There it is, my justification for why I like Gasly. Ha Ha.
  18. That’s what makes arguing about this stuff a lot of fun. Everyone’s list will have some differences from other folks and their lists. Solid arguments can be made for a lot of guys. I’m not a Max Hater. I think his dad, and I remember him as a driver, is a jagoff. I will defer to my German relatives who don’t like Max, because he is Dutch. That’s it. He’s Dutch, so, we don’t like him. 🤣
  19. I’m no fan of Hamilton’s, as I have stated numerous times. I think that car was just so dominant that I don’t consider him the greatest driver of all time. The most successful in victories, yes but, not statistically so. I’m a Schumacher fan, always was and always will be. Right now Hamilton’s winning percentage is at 29.49% and Schumacher is at 29.73%. I too notice the broadcasters showing a bit too much preferential treatment towards Hamilton but, I get it. He’s one of them. He’s their guy and I understand that. When Schumacher was at his pinnacle the German media was head over heels in love with him. On my list, in no particular order although I still think because of winning percentage #1 has to be Fangio, then Schummi, Senna, Clark and Hamilton. I enjoyed the race yesterday. It would have been fun to see LeClerc get to start up front and have a nice battle with Norris. Amazed at how fucking awful Perez has finished. Stroll sucks mightily. For some reason I kind of like Gasly and wish him success, although I hate that car’s pink livery. I am really anxious to see winter testing with Hamilton at Ferrari. That is going to extremely entertaining. The off-season will be fun.
  20. I agree with you on some things, especially SMU this season but, I will respectfully disagree. He looked awesome in the light blues. Just amazing.
  21. Damn. I hate the chiefs but, fuckin’ Mahomes is as slippy as a greased pig. He just sidesteps so many hits that would end drives, and possibly him. It really is amazing to watch. And that damned kick, ugh.
  22. Hated when they changed to this dark blue crap.
