  1. To be fair, I haven't tried it, but from what I've seen, the actual BBQ doesn't look very good. It seems like the place gets by on birria tacos and brisket-boudain-mac and cheese quesadillas. It certainly seems popular with the Astros twitter crowd though.
  2. Yep. Should have been on third for that Tucker fly out.
  3. I'm a big fan of Feges' ribs, and the brisket is fantastic on a good day. They seem to be a little inconsistent though. I've had a couple of pretty meh trips. The pickles never miss tough.
  4. Can't believe Dave Roberts robbed us all of the chance to watch Kershaw blow the perfect game on his own.
  5. Tried Roegel's Katy location on Saturday. Brisket was pretty solid, but definitely not in the same tier as Truth or even Pinkerton's. The jalapeno-cheese sausage was also good. The pork belly really stole the show and is worth stopping in for. I also ordered a half chicken and diced it up for tacos the next day. Brett's it still the best place in the area, but Roegel's is a solid option, particularly until Brett's moves to its new location with hopefully improved parking, and much better than Dozier's.
  6. New music from Arlo McKinley. Can't wait for the new album. I thought his last release was great.
  7. Aren't we 8.5 hours from first pitch?
  8. Daddy Duncan's is fine, but it most certainly is not in the top-10 in the state. It might not even be top 5 in the Houston area.
  9. I could see whoever lives in that house owning the llama paintings, the Glitzy coolers, and the boutique shirts. Still more likely that OP is murdering suburban women and posting their shit for sale, but it may just be one woman. so far.
  10. I really hate relying on Abreu for anything other than mop up duty.
  11. @Wulaw Horn 2 ER, 5.0 IP, 5K, 4H, 2BB, 92 pitches
  12. I'd put my money on Yordan taking the extension. I'd think he'd be smart to cash in given his knee issues.
  13. Closed in November. Appraised at $30k higher in January. I'm thinking of signing up for a service that appeals the appraisal for you and charges you 50% of whatever they are able to save you off your tax bill. Anyone used one of these services?
